ਆਲ ਜਾਲ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਤਜਿ ਸਭਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨਾ ਨਿਤਿ ਗਾਉ ॥ ॥
Abandona todas las trampas y vicios, canta constantemente las virtudes de Dios.
ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਮਾਂਗੈ ਦੇਹੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਨਾਉ ॥੨॥੧॥੬॥ ॥
Con las manos juntas, Nanak pide esta dádiva: concédeme Tu Nombre. ||2||1||6||
ਮਾਲੀ ਗਉੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Raag Maali Gaura, Quinto Guru:
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਮਰਥ ਦੇਵ ਅਪਾਰ ॥ ॥
Dios, Todopoderoso, Infinito.
ਕਉਨੁ ਜਾਨੈ ਚਲਿਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਿਛੁ ਅੰਤੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਪਾਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
¿Quién conoce Tu grandeza? Tu extensión no tiene límite. ||1||Pausa||
ਇਕ ਖਿਨਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਦਾ ਘੜਿ ਭੰਨਿ ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰੁ ॥ ॥
En un instante creas y destruyes, eres el Hacedor que moldea y rompe.
ਜੇਤ ਕੀਨ ਉਪਾਰਜਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਇ ਦਾਤਾਰ ॥੧॥ ॥
Cualquier esfuerzo o ganancia proviene de Dios, el Dador de dones. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਸਰਨਿ ਆਇਓ ਦਾਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਊਚ ਅਗਮ ਮੁਰਾਰ ॥ ॥
He venido a Tu refugio, soy Tu siervo, oh Dios, Elevado, Inalcanzable, Destructor de la arrogancia.
ਕਢਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਭਉਜਲ ਬਿਖਮ ਤੇ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥੨॥੨॥੭॥ ॥
Sálvame del terrible océano del miedo, Nanak siempre te ofrece su homenaje. ||2||2||7||
ਮਾਲੀ ਗਉੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Raag Maali Gaura, Quinto Guru:
ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਬਸਿ ਰਹੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥ ॥
Que Gopal resida en mi mente y cuerpo.
ਦੀਨ ਬਾਂਧਵ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Amigo de los humildes, amante de la devoción, siempre, siempre compasivo. ||1||Pausa||
ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤੇ ਮਧਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥ ॥
En el principio, en el fin, en el medio, eres Tú, Dios; no hay otro.
ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਗਲ ਮੰਡਲ ਏਕੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ॥
Todo el universo está lleno de Ti, el Único Soberano. ||1||
ਕਰਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਰਸਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਉ ॥ ॥
Que mis ojos te contemplen, que mi lengua cante Tus alabanzas.
ਬਲਿਹਾਰਿ ਜਾਏ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਅਪਣਾ ਨਾਉ ॥੨॥੩॥੮॥੬॥੧੪॥ ॥
Nanak se sacrifica por Ti eternamente, concédeme Tu Nombre. ||2||3||8||6||14||
ਮਾਲੀ ਗਉੜਾ ਬਾਣੀ ਭਗਤ ਨਾਮਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਕੀ ॥
Raag Maali Gaura, la palabra del devoto Naam Dayv:
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥
El Único Ser Real, por la Gracia del Verdadero Guru:
ਧਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਓ ਰਾਮ ਬੇਨੁ ਬਾਜੈ ॥ ॥
Bendito, bendito, oh Rama, la flauta suena.
ਮਧੁਰ ਮਧੁਰ ਧੁਨਿ ਅਨਹਤ ਗਾਜੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Una dulce, dulce melodía resuena sin cesar. ||1||Pausa||
ਧਨਿ ਧਨਿ ਮੇਘਾ ਰੋਮਾਵਲੀ ॥ ॥
Benditas las nubes oscuras.
ਧਨਿ ਧਨਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਓਢੈ ਕਾਂਬਲੀ ॥੧॥ ॥
Bendito Krishna, envuelto en su manta. ||1||
ਧਨਿ ਧਨਿ ਤੂ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇਵਕੀ ॥ ॥
Bendita eres tú, Madre Devaki,
ਜਿਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਰਮਈਆ ਕਵਲਾਪਤੀ ॥੨॥ ॥
En cuya casa reside el Señor del Loto. ||2||
ਧਨਿ ਧਨਿ ਬਨ ਖੰਡ ਬਿੰਦ੍ਰਾਬਨਾ ॥ ॥
Bendito el bosque de Vrindavan,
ਜਹ ਖੇਲੈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਾਰਾਇਨਾ ॥੩॥ ॥
Donde juega el Señor Narayan. ||3||
ਬੇਨੁ ਬਜਾਵੈ ਗੋਧਨੁ ਚਰੈ ॥ ॥
Toca la flauta, pastorea el ganado,
ਨਾਮੇ ਕਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਆਨਦ ਕਰੈ ॥੪॥੧॥ ॥
El Señor de Naamdev se regocija. ||4||1||
ਮੇਰੋ ਬਾਪੁ ਮਾਧਉ ਤੂ ਧਨੁ ਕੇਸੌ ਸਾਂਵਲੀਓ ਬੀਠੁਲਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

ਕਰ ਧਰੇ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਬੈਕੁੰਠ ਤੇ ਆਏ ਗਜ ਹਸਤੀ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਉਧਾਰੀਅਲੇ ॥ ॥
You hold the steel chakra in Your hand; You came down from Heaven, and saved the life of the elephant.
ਦੁਹਸਾਸਨ ਕੀ ਸਭਾ ਦ੍ਰੋਪਤੀ ਅੰਬਰ ਲੇਤ ਉਬਾਰੀਅਲੇ ॥੧॥ ॥
In the court of Duhsaasan, You saved the honor of Dropati, when her clothes were being removed. ||1||
ਗੋਤਮ ਨਾਰਿ ਅਹਲਿਆ ਤਾਰੀ ਪਾਵਨ ਕੇਤਕ ਤਾਰੀਅਲੇ ॥ ॥
You saved Ahliyaa, the wife of Gautam; how many have You purified and carried across?
ਐਸਾ ਅਧਮੁ ਅਜਾਤਿ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਤਉ ਸਰਨਾਗਤਿ ਆਈਅਲੇ ॥੨॥੨॥ ॥
Such a lowly outcaste as Naam Dayv has come seeking Your Sanctuary. ||2||2||
ਸਭੈ ਘਟ ਰਾਮੁ ਬੋਲੈ ਰਾਮਾ ਬੋਲੈ ॥ ॥
Within all hearts, the Lord speaks, the Lord speaks.
ਰਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Who else speaks, other than the Lord? ||1||Pause||
ਏਕਲ ਮਾਟੀ ਕੁੰਜਰ ਚੀਟੀ ਭਾਜਨ ਹੈਂ ਬਹੁ ਨਾਨਾ ਰੇ ॥ ॥
Out of the same clay, the elephant, the ant, and the many sorts of species are formed.
ਅਸਥਾਵਰ ਜੰਗਮ ਕੀਟ ਪਤੰਗਮ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਨਾ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ ॥
In stationary life forms, moving beings, worms, moths and within each and every heart, the Lord is contained. ||1||
ਏਕਲ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਰਾਖੁ ਅਨੰਤਾ ਅਉਰ ਤਜਹੁ ਸਭ ਆਸਾ ਰੇ ॥ ॥
Remember the One, Infinite Lord; abandon all other hopes.
ਪ੍ਰਣਵੈ ਨਾਮਾ ਭਏ ਨਿਹਕਾਮਾ ਕੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਕੋ ਦਾਸਾ ਰੇ ॥੨॥੩॥ ॥
Naam Dayv prays, I have become dispassionate and detached; who is the Lord and Master, and who is the slave? ||2||3||
