ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਾਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜਸੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਕਹੇ ॥੨॥੧੭॥੧੦੩॥ ॥

[Haciendo gracia, el dador perfecto, el Señor, el siervo Nanak declara Su alabanza pura.

||2||17||103|| Bilāval, Quinto Maestro.

ਸੁਲਹੀ ਤੇ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਰਾਖੁ ॥ ॥

Protege al humilde, oh Narayana.

ਸੁਲਹੀ ਕਾ ਹਾਥੁ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਪਹੁਚੈ ਸੁਲਹੀ ਹੋਇ ਮੂਆ ਨਾਪਾਕੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

La mano del humilde no alcanza; el humilde muere impuro.

ਕਾਢਿ ਕੁਠਾਰੁ ਖਸਮਿ ਸਿਰੁ ਕਾਟਿਆ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਹੋਇ ਗਇਆ ਹੈ ਖਾਕੁ ॥ ॥

||1||Pausa|| Empuñando el hacha, el Señor le cortó la cabeza; en un instante se convirtió en polvo.

ਮੰਦਾ ਚਿਤਵਤ ਚਿਤਵਤ ਪਚਿਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਰਚਿਆ ਤਿਨਿ ਦੀਨਾ ਧਾਕੁ ॥੧॥ ॥

Pensando mal, pensando mal, se quemó; Aquel que lo creó, le infligió el castigo.

ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਮੀਤ ਧਨੁ ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਰਹਿਓ ਸੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਗਇਆ ਸਭ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਕੁ ॥ ॥

||1|| Hijos, amigos, riquezas, nada quedó; abandonó todo, todos sus parientes.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਨ ਕਾ ਕੀਨੋ ਪੂਰਨ ਵਾਕੁ ॥੨॥੧੮॥੧੦੪॥ ॥

Dice Nanak: Me sacrifico al Señor, que cumplió Su promesa al siervo.

ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਸੇਵ ॥ ॥

El servicio completo del Gurú perfecto.

ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਾਰਜੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਕੀਆ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

El Señor mismo actúa por sí mismo; el Gurú ha completado la obra.

ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅੰਤਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਪਨਾ ਥਾਟੁ ਬਨਾਇਓ ਆਪਿ ॥ ॥

||1||Pausa|| Al principio, en el medio y al final, es el Señor; Él mismo ha creado Su propio diseño.

ਅਪਨੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਕੀ ਆਪੇ ਰਾਖੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਵਡ ਪਰਤਾਪੁ ॥੧॥ ॥

Él mismo protege a Su siervo; oh Señor mío, ¡qué gran poder!

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਸਿ ਕੀਨੑੇ ਜਿਨਿ ਸਗਲੇ ਜੰਤ ॥ ॥

||1|| El Dios Supremo, el Dios trascendente, el Gurú verdadero, ha habitado en aquellos que han conquistado a todas las criaturas.

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤ ॥੨॥੧੯॥੧੦੫॥ ॥

Nanak busca refugio en Sus pies de loto; recitando el nombre de Dios, la mente se purifica.

ਤਾਪ ਪਾਪ ਤੇ ਰਾਖੇ ਆਪ ॥ ॥

Él mismo protege del sufrimiento y del pecado.

ਸੀਤਲ ਭਏ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨੀ ਲਾਗੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਮਹਿ ਜਾਪ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

Se vuelve fresco al acercarse a los pies del Gurú; el nombre de Dios resuena en el corazón.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹਸਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਦੀਨੇ ਜਗਤ ਉਧਾਰ ਨਵ ਖੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ॥ ॥

||1||Pausa|| Con Su gracia, el Señor ha dado Su mano; Su gloria se extiende por los nueve continentes.

ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸੁਖ ਅਨਦ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਬੁਝੀ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਸਚੁ ਧ੍ਰਾਪ ॥੧॥ ॥

El dolor desaparece, entra la felicidad y la alegría; la sed se apaga, la verdad impregna la mente y el cuerpo.

ਅਨਾਥ ਕੋ ਨਾਥੁ ਸਰਣਿ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਸਗਲ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕੋ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪੁ ॥ ॥

||1|| El refugio del desamparado, el Señor omnipotente, el padre y la madre de toda la creación.

ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲ ਭੈ ਭੰਜਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਲਾਪ ॥੨॥੨੦॥੧੦੬॥ ॥

Amante de los devotos, destructor del miedo.

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥

ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਉਪਜਿਆ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਪਛਾਨੁ ॥ ॥

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਕੁਸਲ ਖੇਮ ਹੋਏ ਕਲਿਆਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

Meditating on the Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord, I have found peace, pleasure and salvation. ||1||Pause||

ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਬਡ ਭਾਗੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸੁਘੜੁ ਸੁਜਾਨੁ ॥ ॥

I met the Perfect Guru, by great good fortune, and so found the wise and all-knowing Lord, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.

ਹਾਥ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖੇ ਕਰਿ ਅਪਨੇ ਬਡ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਨਿਮਾਣਿਆ ਕੋ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੧॥ ॥

He gave me His Hand, and making me His own, He saved me; He is absolutely all-powerful, the honor of the dishonored. ||1||

ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭੈ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਗਏ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਚਾਨਾਣੁ ॥ ॥

Doubt and fear have been dispelled in an instant, and in the darkness, the Divine Light shines forth.

ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਆਰਾਧੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਾਈਐ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ ॥੨॥੨੧॥੧੦੭॥ ॥

With each and every breath, Nanak worships and adores the Lord; forever and ever, I am a sacrifice to Him. ||2||21||107||

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥

Bilaaval, Fifth Mehla:

ਦੋਵੈ ਥਾਵ ਰਖੇ ਗੁਰ ਸੂਰੇ ॥ ॥

Both here and hereafter, the Mighty Guru protects me.

ਹਲਤ ਪਲਤ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਹੋਏ ਸਗਲੇ ਪੂਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

God has embellished this world and the next for me, and all my affairs are perfectly resolved. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜੇ ਮਜਨੁ ਹੋਵਤ ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰੇ ॥ ॥

Chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I have found peace and poise, bathing in the dust of the feet of the Holy.

ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣ ਰਹੇ ਥਿਤਿ ਪਾਈ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਕੇ ਮਿਟੇ ਬਿਸੂਰੇ ॥੧॥ ॥

Comings and goings have ceased, and I have found stability; the pains of birth and death are eradicated. ||1||

ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭੈ ਤਰੇ ਛੁਟੇ ਭੈ ਜਮ ਕੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਏਕੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰੇ ॥ ॥

I cross over the ocean of doubt and fear, and the fear of death is gone; the One Lord is permeating and pervading in each and every heart.
