ਜੋ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਦੇ ਸੇ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥ ॥

Aquellos siervos del Gurú que sirven al Gurú, acumulan mérito infinito. El siervo Nanak se sacrifica eternamente por ellos. ||10||

ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੀ ॥੧੦॥ ॥

Los amigos y amigas que siguen el camino del Gurú, se convierten en hermanos y hermanas del Señor. Son aceptados en la corte divina del Señor, y Él mismo los abraza. ||11||

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਖੀ ਸਹੇਲੀਆ ਸੇ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਈਆ ॥ ॥

A aquellos que meditan en el Nombre del Gurú, concédeles la visión divina. Lavamos sus pies y bebemos el polvo de sus pies, una y otra vez. ||12||

ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਪੈਨਾਈਆ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਗਲਿ ਲਾਈਆ ॥੧੧॥ ॥

Algunos mastican betel y nuez de areca, y llevan tabaco en la boca, pero nunca recuerdan al Señor; Yama, el Ángel de la Muerte, se los lleva. ||13||

ਜੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਦੇ ਤਿਨ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ॥ ॥

Aquellos que recuerdan el Nombre del Señor, y lo llevan en sus corazones, el Ángel de la Muerte no se acerca a ellos; son los amados siervos del Gurú. ||14||

ਹਮ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਪਖਾਲਦੇ ਧੂੜਿ ਘੋਲਿ ਘੋਲਿ ਪੀਜੈ ॥੧੨॥ ॥

El Nombre del Señor es un tesoro; que alguien lo reconozca a través del Gurú. Nanak, aquellos que encuentran al Gurú verdadero, se regocijan en Su amor. ||15||

ਪਾਨ ਸੁਪਾਰੀ ਖਾਤੀਆ ਮੁਖਿ ਬੀੜੀਆ ਲਾਈਆ ॥ ॥

El Gurú verdadero es el dador; Tú haces que todo suceda. Me sacrifico eternamente por el Gurú, que me ha dado el Nombre. ||16||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਜਮਿ ਪਕੜਿ ਚਲਾਈਆ ॥੧੩॥ ॥

¡Bendito sea ese Gurú! ¡Que viva el Gurú! El Señor le da Su amor. Viendo al Gurú, me regocijo en el cuerpo del Gurú verdadero. ||17||

ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤਿਆ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਗੁਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੧੪॥ ॥

La lengua del Gurú habla el néctar, el Nombre del Señor, que es tan dulce. Aquellos que escuchan y aceptan las enseñanzas del Gurú, su hambre se sacia. ||18||

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਣੈ ॥ ॥

¿Cuál es el camino del Señor? ¿Cómo puedo alcanzarlo? El Nombre de Hari, Hari, es mi riqueza; con Él, alcanzaré la liberación. ||19||

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਲੀਆ ਮਾਣੈ ॥੧੫॥ ॥

Aquellos que adoran al Señor a través del Gurú, sus respiraciones son preciosas. Me sacrifico eternamente por el Gurú verdadero, siguiendo las enseñanzas del Gurú. ||20||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਆਖੀਐ ਤੁਸਿ ਕਰੇ ਪਸਾਓ ॥ ॥

Tú eres el Señor, Tú eres el Soberano, Tú eres mi amante...

ਹਉ ਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਸਦ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਦਿਤੜਾ ਨਾਓ ॥੧੬॥ ॥

I am forever a sacrifice to the Guru, who has blessed me with the Lord's Name. ||16||

ਸੋ ਧੰਨੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਇ ਸਨੇਹਾ ॥ ॥

Blessed, very blessed is the Guru, who brings the Lord's message.

ਹਉ ਵੇਖਿ ਵੇਖਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਿਗਸਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦੇਹਾ ॥੧੭॥ ॥

I gaze upon the Guru, the Guru, the True Guru embodied, and I blossom forth in bliss. ||17||

ਗੁਰ ਰਸਨਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਬੋਲਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ॥ ॥

The Guru's tongue recites Words of Ambrosial Nectar; He is adorned with the Lord's Name.

ਜਿਨ ਸੁਣਿ ਸਿਖਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਤਿਨਾ ਭੁਖ ਸਭ ਜਾਵੀ ॥੧੮॥ ॥

Those Sikhs who hear and obey the Guru - all their desires depart. ||18||

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਆਖੀਐ ਕਹੁ ਕਿਤੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਜਾਈਐ ॥ ॥

Some speak of the Lord's Path; tell me, how can I walk on it?

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਖਰਚੁ ਲੈ ਜਾਈਐ ॥੧੯॥ ॥

O Lord, Har, Har, Your Name is my supplies; I will take it with me and set out. ||19||

ਜਿਨ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਸੇ ਸਾਹ ਵਡ ਦਾਣੇ ॥ ॥

Those Gurmukhs who worship and adore the Lord, are wealthy and very wise.

ਹਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਉ ਸਦ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨਿ ਸਮਾਣੇ ॥੨੦॥ ॥

I am forever a sacrifice to the True Guru; I am absorbed in the Words of the Guru's Teachings. ||20||

ਤੂ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਤੂ ਸਾਹਿਬੋ ਤੂਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੀਰਾ ॥ ॥

You are the Master, my Lord and Master; You are my Ruler and King.

ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਤੂ ਗੁਣੀ ਗਹੀਰਾ ॥੨੧॥ ॥

If it is pleasing to Your Will, then I worship and serve You; You are the treasure of virtue. ||21||

ਆਪੇ ਹਰਿ ਇਕ ਰੰਗੁ ਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗੀ ॥ ॥

The Lord Himself is absolute; He is The One and Only; but He Himself is also manifested in many forms.

ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਸਾਈ ਗਲ ਚੰਗੀ ॥੨੨॥੨॥ ॥

Whatever pleases Him, O Nanak, that alone is good. ||22||2||

ਤਿਲੰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੯ ਕਾਫੀ ॥

Tilang, Ninth Mehla, Kaafee:

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਚੇਤਨਾ ਹੈ ਤਉ ਚੇਤ ਲੈ ਨਿਸਿ ਦਿਨਿ ਮੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ॥ ॥

If you are conscious, then be conscious of Him night and day, O mortal.

ਛਿਨੁ ਛਿਨੁ ਅਉਧ ਬਿਹਾਤੁ ਹੈ ਫੂਟੈ ਘਟ ਜਿਉ ਪਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

Each and every moment, your life is passing away, like water from a cracked pitcher. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਕਾਹਿ ਨ ਗਾਵਹੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਅਗਿਆਨਾ ॥ ॥

Why do you not sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, you ignorant fool?

ਝੂਠੈ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਲਾਗਿ ਕੈ ਨਹਿ ਮਰਨੁ ਪਛਾਨਾ ॥੧॥ ॥

You are attached to false greed, and you do not even consider death. ||1||

ਅਜਹੂ ਕਛੁ ਬਿਗਰਿਓ ਨਹੀ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ॥ ॥

Even now, no harm has been done, if you will only sing God's Praises.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਹ ਭਜਨ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੨॥੧॥ ॥

Says Nanak, by meditating and vibrating upon Him, you shall obtain the state of fearlessness. ||2||1||

ਤਿਲੰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੯ ॥ ॥

Tilang, Ninth Mehla:

ਜਾਗ ਲੇਹੁ ਰੇ ਮਨਾ ਜਾਗ ਲੇਹੁ ਕਹਾ ਗਾਫਲ ਸੋਇਆ ॥ ॥

Wake up, O mind! Wake up! Why are you sleeping unaware?

ਜੋ ਤਨੁ ਉਪਜਿਆ ਸੰਗ ਹੀ ਸੋ ਭੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

That body, which you were born with, shall not go along with you in the end. ||1||Pause||

ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਤ ਬੰਧ ਜਨ ਹਿਤੁ ਜਾ ਸਿਉ ਕੀਨਾ ॥ ॥

Mother, father, children and relatives whom you love,

ਜੀਉ ਛੂਟਿਓ ਜਬ ਦੇਹ ਤੇ ਡਾਰਿ ਅਗਨਿ ਮੈ ਦੀਨਾ ॥੧॥ ॥

will throw your body into the fire, when your soul departs from it. ||1||
