ਘਰ ਹੀ ਸੋ ਪਿਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ॥
He encontrado al amado en mi propia casa, a través de la verdad y la reflexión en el Naam. ||1||
ਅਵਗਣ ਗੁਣੀ ਬਖਸਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥ ॥
Sus defectos fueron perdonados, y mi mente se unió al Señor.
ਹਰਿ ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਾਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
He encontrado al amado, la esposa, y el Gurú me ha unido a él. ||1||Pause||
ਇਕਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਹਦੂਰਿ ਨ ਜਾਣਨੑੀ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇ ॥ ॥
Algunas no conocen al amado que está presente, y otras se pierden en la ilusión.
ਕਿਉ ਪਾਇਨਿੑ ਡੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਦੁਖੀ ਰੈਣਿ ਵਿਹਾਇ ॥੨॥ ॥
¿Cómo pueden encontrar la felicidad, las esposas infieles, pasando noches de dolor? ||2||
ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਸਚੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਸਚੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਇ ॥ ॥
Aquellos cuyos corazones están llenos de verdad, realizan acciones verdaderas.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸਹਜ ਸਿਉ ਸਚੇ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੩॥ ॥
Día y noche, ellos sirven con naturalidad, absortos en la Verdad. ||3||
ਦੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਈਆ ਕੂੜੁ ਬੋਲਿ ਬਿਖੁ ਖਾਹਿ ॥ ॥
Las esposas infieles, perdidas en la ilusión, hablan falsedades y consumen veneno.
ਪਿਰੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਨਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੁੰਞੀ ਸੇਜ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਹਿ ॥੪॥ ॥
No conocen a su propio amado, y sufren en su lecho vacío. ||4||
ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ ਮਤੁ ਮਨ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਹਿ ॥ ॥
El verdadero Señor es Uno; no te pierdas en la ilusión de la mente.
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਛਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਸਚੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਹਿ ॥੫॥ ॥
Pregunta al Gurú, sirve, y establece la verdad pura en tu mente. ||5||
ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਸਦਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਉਮੈ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥ ॥
La esposa fiel siempre encuentra a su amado, renunciando al ego y al orgullo.
ਪਿਰ ਸੇਤੀ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਗਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਸਚੀ ਸੇਜ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇ ॥੬॥ ॥
Ella permanece unida a su amado día y noche, y encuentra la felicidad en su lecho verdadero. ||6||
ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਰਿ ਗਏ ਪਲੈ ਕਿਛੁ ਨ ਪਾਇ ॥ ॥
Aquellas que dicen "mío, mío", al final no obtienen nada.
ਮਹਲੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਡੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਅੰਤਿ ਗਈ ਪਛੁਤਾਇ ॥੭॥ ॥
Las esposas infieles no tienen mansión; al final, se arrepienten. ||7||
ਸੋ ਪਿਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ ਏਕਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥ ॥
Mi amado es Uno; une tu mente a Él.
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਲੋੜਹਿ ਕਾਮਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਇ ॥੮॥੧੧॥੩੩॥ ॥
Oh, Nanak, si deseas felicidad, esposa, establece el Nombre del Señor en tu mente. ||8||11||33||
ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥ ॥
Āsā, Tercer Mehl:
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਜਿਨੑਾ ਚਖਾਇਓਨੁ ਰਸੁ ਆਇਆ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥ ॥
Aquellos a quienes se les ha dado a beber el néctar, el sabor ha llegado a ellos naturalmente.
ਸਚਾ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਨੋ ਤਿਲੁ ਨ ਤਮਾਇ ॥੧॥ ॥
El verdadero es independiente; nada lo afecta. ||1||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸਚਾ ਵਰਸਦਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਇ ॥ ॥
El néctar verdadero llueve; los Gursikhs lo reciben en sus bocas.
ਮਨੁ ਸਦਾ ਹਰੀਆਵਲਾ ਸਹਜੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Sus mentes son siempre verdes, cantando las alabanzas del Señor en la paz. ||1||Pause||
ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਦੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਦਰਿ ਖੜੀਆ ਬਿਲਲਾਹਿ ॥ ॥
Las esposas infieles, los manmukhs, siempre están de pie ante la puerta, lamentándose.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਿਰ ਕਾ ਸੁਆਦੁ ਨ ਆਇਓ ਜੋ ਧੁਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੋ ਕਮਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
Las esposas infieles, los manmukhs, siempre están de pie ante la puerta, lamentándose.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬੀਜੇ ਸਚੁ ਜਮੈ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਾਪਾਰੁ ॥ ॥
The Gurmukh plants the seed of the True Name, and it sprouts. He deals in the True Name alone.
ਜੋ ਇਤੁ ਲਾਹੈ ਲਾਇਅਨੁ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇਇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥੩॥ ॥
Those whom the Lord has attached to this profitable venture, are granted the treasure of devotional worship. ||3||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਭੈ ਭਗਤਿ ਸੀਗਾਰਿ ॥ ॥
The Gurmukh is forever the true, happy soul-bride; she adorns herself with the fear of God and devotion to Him.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਵਹਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਚੁ ਰਖਹਿ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੪॥ ॥
Night and day, she enjoys her Husband Lord; she keeps Truth enshrined within her heart. ||4||
ਜਿਨੑਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵਿਆ ਆਪਣਾ ਤਿਨੑਾ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥ ॥
I am a sacrifice to those who have enjoyed their Husband Lord.
ਸਦਾ ਪਿਰ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਹਹਿ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥੫॥ ॥
They dwell forever with their Husband Lord; they eradicate self-conceit from within. ||5||
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਪਿਰ ਕੈ ਭਾਇ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥ ॥
Their bodies and minds are cooled and soothed, and their faces are radiant, from the love and affection of their Husband Lord.
ਸੇਜ ਸੁਖਾਲੀ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਵੈ ਹਉਮੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਮਾਰਿ ॥੬॥ ॥
They enjoy their Husband Lord upon His cozy bed, having conquered their ego and desire. ||6||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਹੇਤਿ ਅਪਾਰਿ ॥ ॥
Granting His Grace, He comes into our homes, through our infinite Love for the Guru.
ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਏਕੁ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੭॥ ॥
The happy soul-bride obtains the One Lord as her Husband. ||7||
ਸਭੇ ਗੁਨਹ ਬਖਸਾਇ ਲਇਓਨੁ ਮੇਲੇ ਮੇਲਣਹਾਰਿ ॥ ॥
All of her sins are forgiven; the Uniter unites her with Himself.
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਣੁ ਆਖੀਐ ਜੇ ਸੁਣਿ ਧਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥੮॥੧੨॥੩੪॥ ॥
O Nanak, chant such chants, that hearing them, He may enshrine love for you. ||8||12||34||
ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥ ॥
Aasaa, Third Mehla:
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਗੁਣ ਊਪਜੈ ਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਲੈ ਸੋਇ ॥ ॥
Merit is obtained from the True Guru, when God causes us to meet Him.
