ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ॥
Los necios no encuentran estabilidad. Aquellos que renuncian a todo y se aferran al Único.
ਠਠਾ ਮਨੂਆ ਠਾਹਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ ਜੋ ਸਗਲ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਏਕਹਿ ਲਪਟਾਹੀ ॥ ॥
Riendo y riendo, mueren con Maya.
ਠਹਕਿ ਠਹਕਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੰਗਿ ਮੂਏ ॥ ॥
Ninguna virtud se encuentra en ellos.
ਉਆ ਕੈ ਕੁਸਲ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਹੂਏ ॥ ॥
Encuentran paz morando en la compañía de los Santos.
ਠਾਂਢਿ ਪਰੀ ਸੰਤਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਸਿਆ ॥ ॥
Allí, el alma saborea el Néctar del Nombre.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਤਹਾ ਜੀਅ ਰਸਿਆ ॥ ॥
El Señor ama a Sus devotos.
ਠਾਕੁਰ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਜੋ ਜਨੁ ਭਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Oh Nanak, su mente se enfría.
ਨਾਨਕ ਉਆ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤਲਾਇਆ ॥੨੮॥ ॥
Me postro ante Ti una y otra vez; Tú eres todopoderoso, capaz de todo.
ਸਲੋਕੁ ॥ ॥
Sálvame de la inestabilidad, oh Dios, Nanak ofrece sus manos en oración.
ਡੰਡਉਤਿ ਬੰਦਨ ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਸਮਰਥ ॥ ॥
Este cuerpo no es un hogar verdadero; el hogar verdadero está donde reside el alma.
ਡੋਲਨ ਤੇ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਕਰਿ ਹਥ ॥੧॥ ॥
La disciplina de ese hogar se reconoce a través de la Palabra del Gurú.
ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ॥
Uno trabaja duro por este cuerpo,
ਡਡਾ ਡੇਰਾ ਇਹੁ ਨਹੀ ਜਹ ਡੇਰਾ ਤਹ ਜਾਨੁ ॥ ॥
Que no lo acompaña en su partida.
ਉਆ ਡੇਰਾ ਕਾ ਸੰਜਮੋ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਨੁ ॥ ॥
Solo aquel que tiene la visión perfecta de Dios
ਇਆ ਡੇਰਾ ਕਉ ਸ੍ਰਮੁ ਕਰਿ ਘਾਲੈ ॥ ॥
Conoce la medida de ese hogar verdadero.
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਤਸੂ ਨਹੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਚਾਲੈ ॥ ॥
En la compañía de los Santos, se encuentra el hogar inamovible y verdadero.
ਉਆ ਡੇਰਾ ਕੀ ਸੋ ਮਿਤਿ ਜਾਨੈ ॥ ॥
Oh Nanak, esos devotos no vacilan.
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਗਵਾਨੈ ॥ ॥
El justo rey Dharma está a punto de destruir, y nadie ha creado ningún vínculo (para salvarse).
ਡੇਰਾ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Oh Nanak, aquellos que meditan en Hari y se relacionan con los Santos se salvan.
ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਜਨ ਨਹ ਡੋਲਾਇਆ ॥੨੯॥ ॥
¿Por qué vagáis buscando? La búsqueda está dentro de vuestra propia mente.
ਸਲੋਕੁ ॥ ॥
Dios reside con vosotros; ¿por qué vagáis de bosque en bosque?
ਢਾਹਨ ਲਾਗੇ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਕਿਨਹਿ ਨ ਘਾਲਿਓ ਬੰਧ ॥ ॥
En la compañía de los Santos, destruid el terrible montículo del egoísmo.
ਨਾਨਕ ਉਬਰੇ ਜਪਿ ਹਰੀ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਸਨਬੰਧ ॥੧॥ ॥
Encontraréis paz y moraréis en tranquilidad, contemplando la visión divina.
ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ॥
El que muere en la ignorancia sufre en el ciclo de nacimientos y muertes.
ਢਢਾ ਢੂਢਤ ਕਹ ਫਿਰਹੁ ਢੂਢਨੁ ਇਆ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ ॥
Absorto en el apego, permanece apegado, yendo y viniendo en el "yo, yo".
ਸੰਗਿ ਤੁਹਾਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਬਸੈ ਬਨੁ ਬਨੁ ਕਹਾ ਫਿਰਾਹਿ ॥ ॥
Cayendo y cayendo, ahora caen a los pies de los Santos.
ਢੇਰੀ ਢਾਹਹੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ ਬਿਕਰਾਲ ॥ ॥
Oh Nanak, los lazos del dolor se han cortado, y han sido absorbidos por el Señor.
ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਸਹਜੇ ਬਸਹੁ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥ ॥
You shall find peace, and abide in intuitive bliss; gazing upon the Blessed Vision of God's Darshan, you shall be delighted.
ਢੇਰੀ ਜਾਮੈ ਜਮਿ ਮਰੈ ਗਰਭ ਜੋਨਿ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਇ ॥ ॥
One who has such a mound as this, dies and suffers the pain of reincarnation through the womb.
ਮੋਹ ਮਗਨ ਲਪਟਤ ਰਹੈ ਹਉ ਹਉ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ ॥
One who is intoxicated by emotional attachment, entangled in egotism, selfishness and conceit, shall continue coming and going in reincarnation.
ਢਹਤ ਢਹਤ ਅਬ ਢਹਿ ਪਰੇ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਸਰਨਾਇ ॥ ॥
Slowly and steadily, I have now surrendered to the Holy Saints; I have come to their Sanctuary.
ਦੁਖ ਕੇ ਫਾਹੇ ਕਾਟਿਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਲੀਏ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੩੦॥ ॥
God has cut away the noose of my pain; O Nanak, He has merged me into Himself. ||30||
ਸਲੋਕੁ ॥ ॥
Shalok:
ਜਹ ਸਾਧੂ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਭਜਨੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੀਤ ॥ ॥
Where the Holy people constantly vibrate the Kirtan of the Praises of the Lord of the Universe, O Nanak
ਣਾ ਹਉ ਣਾ ਤੂੰ ਣਹ ਛੁਟਹਿ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਨ ਜਾਈਅਹੁ ਦੂਤ ॥੧॥ ॥
- the Righteous Judge says, ""Do not approach that place, O Messenger of Death, or else neither you nor I shall escape!""||1||
ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ॥
Pauree:
ਣਾਣਾ ਰਣ ਤੇ ਸੀਝੀਐ ਆਤਮ ਜੀਤੈ ਕੋਇ ॥ ॥
NANNA: One who conquers his own soul, wins the battle of life.
ਹਉਮੈ ਅਨ ਸਿਉ ਲਰਿ ਮਰੈ ਸੋ ਸੋਭਾ ਦੂ ਹੋਇ ॥ ॥
One who dies, while fighting against egotism and alienation, becomes sublime and beautiful.
ਮਣੀ ਮਿਟਾਇ ਜੀਵਤ ਮਰੈ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ ॥ ॥
One who eradicates his ego, remains dead while yet alive, through the Teachings of the Perfect Guru.
ਮਨੂਆ ਜੀਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਤਿਹ ਸੂਰਤਣ ਵੇਸ ॥ ॥
He conquers his mind, and meets the Lord; he is dressed in robes of honor.
ਣਾ ਕੋ ਜਾਣੈ ਆਪਣੋ ਏਕਹਿ ਟੇਕ ਅਧਾਰ ॥ ॥
He does not claim anything as his own; the One Lord is his Anchor and Support.
ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਣਸੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਰਹੈ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਅਪਾਰ ॥ ॥
Night and day, he continually contemplates the Almighty, Infinite Lord God.
ਰੇਣ ਸਗਲ ਇਆ ਮਨੁ ਕਰੈ ਏਊ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਇ ॥ ॥
He makes his mind the dust of all; such is the karma of the deeds he does.
ਹੁਕਮੈ ਬੂਝੈ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਪਾਇ ॥੩੧॥ ॥
Understanding the Hukam of the Lord's Command, he attains everlasting peace. O Nanak, such is his pre-ordained destiny. ||31||
ਸਲੋਕੁ ॥ ॥
Shalok:
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਅਰਪਉ ਤਿਸੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਮੋਹਿ ॥ ॥
I offer my body, mind and wealth to anyone who can unite me with God.
ਨਾਨਕ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭਉ ਕਾਟੀਐ ਚੂਕੈ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਜੋਹ ॥੧॥ ॥
O Nanak, my doubts and fears have been dispelled, and the Messenger of Death does not see me any longer. ||1||
ਪਉੜੀ ॥ ॥
Pauree:
ਤਤਾ ਤਾ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਰਾਇ ॥ ॥
TATTA: Embrace love for the Treasure of Excellence, the Sovereign Lord of the Universe.
ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਨ ਬਾਛਤੇ ਤਪਤਿ ਤੁਹਾਰੀ ਜਾਇ ॥ ॥
You shall obtain the fruits of your mind's desires, and your burning thirst shall be quenched.
