ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
1 Dios, por la gracia del Gurú verdadero.
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥
Nunca olvides al Señor, al Señor.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਮਨਹੁ ਬਿਸਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
Aquí y allá, el dador de toda felicidad, impregna todos los corazones. ||1||Pause||
ਈਹਾ ਊਹਾ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਸਗਲ ਘਟਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Él corta la gran aflicción en un instante, cuando la lengua canta el Nombre.
ਮਹਾ ਕਸਟ ਕਾਟੈ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
En el refugio del Señor, hay frescura, paz y felicidad; el fuego ardiente se apaga. ||1||
ਸੀਤਲ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸੂਖ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਣੀ ਜਲਤੀ ਅਗਨਿ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ॥
Él protege del infierno del útero y hace cruzar el océano de la existencia.
ਗਰਭ ਕੁੰਡ ਨਰਕ ਤੇ ਰਾਖੈ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
Adorando Sus pies de loto, el miedo a la muerte se desvanece del corazón. ||2||
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਆਰਾਧਤ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥੨॥ ॥
El Señor Supremo, el Dios perfecto, es excelso, inaccesible e ilimitado.
ਪੂਰਨ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਊਚਾ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
Cantando Sus virtudes y meditando en Él, uno se baña en el océano de la dicha y no pierde la vida. ||3||
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਤ ਧਿਆਵਤ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ਜੂਏ ਜਨਮੁ ਨ ਹਾਰੇ ॥੩॥ ॥
Mi mente está absorta en el deseo, la ira, la avaricia y el apego, los dones del ser sin virtudes.
ਕਾਮਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿ ਲੋਭਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਨੁ ਲੀਨੋ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਕੇ ਦਾਤਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
Ten piedad, dame Tu Nombre, oh Nanak, siempre estoy a Tus pies. ||4||1||138||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪੁਨੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੩੮॥ ॥
1 Dios, por la gracia del Gurú verdadero.
ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਚੇਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
No hay felicidad sin la devoción al Señor.
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥
Conquistando esta vida, esta joya invaluable, a través de la compañía de los santos, medita en Él por un instante. ||1||Pause||
ਸੁਖੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਬਿਨਾ ॥ ॥
Hijos, riqueza, mujeres y placeres; muchos abandonaron los placeres mundanos. ||1||
ਜੀਤਿ ਜਨਮੁ ਇਹੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਅਮੋਲਕੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਜਪਿ ਇਕ ਖਿਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
El orgullo y la arrogancia, el esplendor del reino; el necio se fue desnudo, renunciando a todo. ||2||
ਸੁਤ ਸੰਪਤਿ ਬਨਿਤਾ ਬਿਨੋਦ ॥ ਛੋਡਿ ਗਏ ਬਹੁ ਲੋਗ ਭੋਗ ॥੧॥ ॥
El cuerpo, perfumado con sándalo y flores,
ਹੈਵਰ ਗੈਵਰ ਰਾਜ ਰੰਗ ॥ ॥
Ese cuerpo se convierte en polvo. ||3||
ਤਿਆਗਿ ਚਲਿਓ ਹੈ ਮੂੜ ਨੰਗ ॥੨॥ ॥
Engañado por la ilusión, cree que está lejos;
ਚੋਆ ਚੰਦਨ ਦੇਹ ਫੂਲਿਆ ॥ ॥
Oh Nanak, di que Él está siempre presente. ||4||1||139||
ਸੋ ਤਨੁ ਧਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਰੂਲਿਆ ॥੩॥ ॥
Fija tu mente en la meditación del Nombre del Señor.
ਮੋਹਿ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਜਾਨੈ ਦੂਰਿ ਹੈ ॥ ॥
El océano de las olas de la ilusión y el mundo; el Gurú es la barca que te lleva a la otra orilla. ||1||Pause||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਹਦੂਰਿ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੩੯॥ ॥
La era oscura de la oscuridad;
ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
La luz de la sabiduría del Gurú ilumina.
ਮਨ ਧਰ ਤਰਬੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਨੋ ॥ ॥
O mind, cross over with the Support of the Lord's Name.
ਸਾਗਰ ਲਹਰਿ ਸੰਸਾ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਬੋਹਿਥੁ ਪਾਰ ਗਰਾਮਨੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
The Guru is the boat to carry you across the world-ocean, through the waves of cynicism and doubt. ||1||Pause||
ਕਲਿ ਕਾਲਖ ਅੰਧਿਆਰੀਆ ॥ ॥
In this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, there is only pitch darkness.
ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀਪਕ ਉਜਿਆਰੀਆ ॥੧॥ ॥
The lamp of the Guru's spiritual wisdom illuminates and enlightens. ||1||
ਬਿਖੁ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਪਸਰੀ ਅਤਿ ਘਨੀ ॥ ॥
The poison of corruption is spread out far and wide.
ਉਬਰੇ ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨੀ ॥੨॥ ॥
Only the virtuous are saved, chanting and meditating on the Lord. ||2||
ਮਤਵਾਰੋ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੋਇਆ ॥ ॥
Intoxicated with Maya, the people are asleep.
ਗੁਰ ਭੇਟਤ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਖੋਇਆ ॥੩॥ ॥
Meeting the Guru, doubt and fear are dispelled. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥ ॥
Says Nanak, meditate on the One Lord;
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਨਦਰੀ ਆਇਆ ॥੪॥੨॥੧੪੦॥ ॥
behold Him in each and every heart. ||4||2||140||
ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Gauree, Fifth Mehla:
ਦੀਬਾਨੁ ਹਮਾਰੋ ਤੁਹੀ ਏਕ ॥ ॥
You alone are my Chief Advisor.
ਸੇਵਾ ਥਾਰੀ ਗੁਰਹਿ ਟੇਕ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
I serve You with the Support of the Guru. ||1||Pause||
ਅਨਿਕ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
By various devices, I could not find You.
ਗੁਰਿ ਚਾਕਰ ਲੈ ਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ॥
Taking hold of me, the Guru has made me Your slave. ||1||
ਮਾਰੇ ਪੰਚ ਬਿਖਾਦੀਆ ॥ ॥
I have conquered the five tyrants.
ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਦਲੁ ਸਾਧਿਆ ॥੨॥ ॥
By Guru's Grace, I have vanquished the army of evil. ||2||
ਬਖਸੀਸ ਵਜਹੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮ ॥ ॥
I have received the One Name as His bounty and blessing.
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥ ॥
Now, I dwell in peace, poise and bliss. ||3||
