ਸਕਯਥੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਕਲੵੁਚਰੈ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਸੵਿਉ ਅਮਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ॥੮॥ ॥

La dicha (Sakayath) nace cuando el Gurú, la luz inmortal, derrama su gracia.

ਬਾਰਿਜੁ ਕਰਿ ਦਾਹਿਣੈ ਸਿਧਿ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਮੁਖੁ ਜੋਵੈ ॥ ॥

[8] Con la mano derecha, se realiza la acción, la perfección se manifiesta ante la cara.

ਰਿਧਿ ਬਸੈ ਬਾਂਵਾਂਗਿ ਜੁ ਤੀਨਿ ਲੋਕਾਂਤਰ ਮੋਹੈ ॥ ॥

La riqueza reside en el brazo, y el encanto en los tres mundos.

ਰਿਦੈ ਬਸੈ ਅਕਹੀਉ ਸੋਇ ਰਸੁ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਜਾਤਉ ॥ ॥

En el corazón reside el inefable, el sabor que solo Él sabe.

ਮੁਖਹੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਉਚਰੈ ਅਮਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਇਤੁ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਉ ॥ ॥

La boca recita la devoción, el Gurú inmortal, en este color se deleita.

ਮਸਤਕਿ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ਸਚਉ ਕਰਮੁ ਕਲੵ ਜੋੜਿ ਕਰ ਧੵਾਇਅਉ ॥ ॥

En la frente, la marca de la verdad, el karma se une y se realiza la acción.

ਪਰਸਿਅਉ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤਿਲਕੁ ਸਰਬ ਇਛ ਤਿਨਿ ਪਾਇਅਉ ॥੯॥ ॥

Por la gracia del Gurú, el verdadero Gurú, el adorno, todas las aspiraciones son cumplidas.

ਚਰਣ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਚਰਣ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰ ਪਵਲਿ ਰਯ ॥ ॥

[9] Desde los pies, la dicha; los pies tocan al Gurú inmortal.

ਹਥ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਹਥ ਲਗਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰ ਪਯ ॥ ॥

Desde las manos, la dicha; las manos tocan al Gurú inmortal.

ਜੀਹ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਜੀਹ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰੁ ਭਣਿਜੈ ॥ ॥

Desde la lengua, la dicha; la lengua habla del Gurú inmortal.

ਨੈਣ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਨਯਣਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰੁ ਪਿਖਿਜੈ ॥ ॥

Desde los ojos, la dicha; los ojos ven al Gurú inmortal.

ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਸ੍ਰਵਣਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰੁ ਸੁਣਿਜੈ ॥ ॥

Desde los oídos, la dicha; los oídos escuchan al Gurú inmortal.

ਸਕਯਥੁ ਸੁ ਹੀਉ ਜਿਤੁ ਹੀਅ ਬਸੈ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਨਿਜ ਜਗਤ ਪਿਤ ॥ ॥

La dicha es ese corazón donde reside el Gurú inmortal, el padre del mundo propio.

ਸਕਯਥੁ ਸੁ ਸਿਰੁ ਜਾਲਪੁ ਭਣੈ ਜੁ ਸਿਰੁ ਨਿਵੈ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰ ਨਿਤ ॥੧॥੧੦॥ ॥

La dicha es esa cabeza que se inclina, que se inclina ante el Gurú inmortal eternamente.

ਤਿ ਨਰ ਦੁਖ ਨਹ ਭੁਖ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਨਿਧਨ ਨਹੁ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ॥ ॥

[1,10] Esos seres no conocen el dolor, ni el hambre; esos seres no conocen la muerte.

ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸੋਕੁ ਨਹੁ ਹੁਐ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸੇ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਲਹੀਅਹਿ ॥ ॥

Esos seres no conocen la tristeza; esos seres no conocen el final.

ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸੇਵ ਨਹੁ ਕਰਹਿ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸਯ ਸਹਸ ਸਮਪਹਿ ॥ ॥

Esos seres no hacen servicio; esos seres alcanzan miles de recompensas.

ਤਿ ਨਰ ਦੁਲੀਚੈ ਬਹਹਿ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਉਥਪਿ ਬਿਥਪਹਿ ॥ ॥

Esos seres se sientan en la dicha; esos seres se levantan y se regocijan.

ਸੁਖ ਲਹਹਿ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਮਹਿ ਅਭੈ ਪਟੁ ਰਿਪ ਮਧਿ ਤਿਹ ॥ ॥

Encuentran la felicidad, esos seres, en el mundo, la protección en medio de los enemigos.

ਸਕਯਥ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਜਾਲਪੁ ਭਣੈ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨੁ ਜਿਹ ॥੨॥੧੧॥ ॥

La dicha es esa cabeza que se inclina ante el Gurú inmortal, el muy complacido.

ਤੈ ਪਢਿਅਉ ਇਕੁ ਮਨਿ ਧਰਿਅਉ ਇਕੁ ਕਰਿ ਇਕੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਓ ॥ ॥

[2,11] Se lee con una mente, se medita con una, se reconoce con una.

ਨਯਣਿ ਬਯਣਿ ਮੁਹਿ ਇਕੁ ਇਕੁ ਦੁਹੁ ਠਾਂਇ ਨ ਜਾਣਿਓ ॥ ॥

Con los ojos, la lengua y la boca, una, una, en dos lugares no va.

ਸੁਪਨਿ ਇਕੁ ਪਰਤਖਿ ਇਕੁ ਇਕਸ ਮਹਿ ਲੀਣਉ ॥ ॥

You know the One Lord while dreaming, and the One Lord while awake. You are absorbed in the One.

ਤੀਸ ਇਕੁ ਅਰੁ ਪੰਜਿ ਸਿਧੁ ਪੈਤੀਸ ਨ ਖੀਣਉ ॥ ॥

At the age of seventy-one, You began to march towards the Indestructible Lord.

ਇਕਹੁ ਜਿ ਲਾਖੁ ਲਖਹੁ ਅਲਖੁ ਹੈ ਇਕੁ ਇਕੁ ਕਰਿ ਵਰਨਿਅਉ ॥ ॥

The One Lord, who takes hundreds of thousands of forms, cannot be seen. He can only be described as One.

ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜਾਲਪੁ ਭਣੈ ਤੂ ਇਕੁ ਲੋੜਹਿ ਇਕੁ ਮੰਨਿਅਉ ॥੩॥੧੨॥ ॥

So speaks Jaalap: O Guru Amar Daas, You long for the One Lord, and believe in the One Lord alone. ||3||12||

ਜਿ ਮਤਿ ਗਹੀ ਜੈਦੇਵਿ ਜਿ ਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੈ ਸੰਮਾਣੀ ॥ ॥

The understanding which Jai Dayv grasped, the understanding which permeated Naam Dayv,

ਜਿ ਮਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਚਿਤਿ ਭਗਤ ਕੰਬੀਰਹਿ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ॥

the understanding which was in the consciousness of Trilochan and known by the devotee Kabeer,

ਰੁਕਮਾਂਗਦ ਕਰਤੂਤਿ ਰਾਮੁ ਜੰਪਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਭਾਈ ॥ ॥

by which Rukmaangad constantly meditated on the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny,

ਅੰਮਰੀਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦਿ ਸਰਣਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥ ॥

which brought Ambreek and Prahlaad to seek the Sanctuary of the Lord of the Universe, and which brought them to salvation

ਤੈ ਲੋਭੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਤਜੀ ਸੁ ਮਤਿ ਜਲੵ ਜਾਣੀ ਜੁਗਤਿ ॥ ॥

says JALL that sublime understanding has brought You to renounce greed, anger and desire, and to know the way.

ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਨਿਜ ਭਗਤੁ ਹੈ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਰਸੁ ਪਾਵਉ ਮੁਕਤਿ ॥੪॥੧੩॥ ॥

Guru Amar Daas is the Lord's own devotee; gazing upon the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, one is liberated. ||4||13||

ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਪਰਸੀਐ ਪੁਹਮਿ ਪਾਤਿਕ ਬਿਨਾਸਹਿ ॥ ॥

Meeting with Guru Amar Daas, the earth is purged of its sin.

ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਪਰਸੀਐ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਆਸਾਸਹਿ ॥ ॥

The Siddhas and seekers long to meet with Guru Amar Daas.

ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਪਰਸੀਐ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਲਹੀਐ ਪਉ ਮੁਕਿਹਿ ॥ ॥

Meeting with Guru Amar Daas, the mortal meditates on the Lord, and his journey comes to its end.

ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਪਰਸੀਐ ਅਭਉ ਲਭੈ ਗਉ ਚੁਕਿਹਿ ॥ ॥

Meeting with Guru Amar Daas, the Fearless Lord is obtained, and the cycle of reincarnation is brought to an end.
