ਪਸਰੀ ਕਿਰਣਿ ਰਸਿ ਕਮਲ ਬਿਗਾਸੇ ਸਸਿ ਘਰਿ ਸੂਰੁ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥ ॥

Los rayos se esparcen, el loto florece con néctar; la luna llena, el sol se ha unido en la morada. La muerte es destruida, la mente es controlada; por la gracia del Gurú, el Señor es encontrado. ||3||

ਕਾਲੁ ਬਿਧੁੰਸਿ ਮਨਸਾ ਮਨਿ ਮਾਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੩॥ ॥

Con gran deleite y color, la noche se pasa; no hay otro color. Nanak, saboreando el néctar, está embriagado; el Señor permanece en él. ||4|| 15||

ਅਤਿ ਰਸਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲੈ ਰਾਤੀ ਦੂਜਾ ਰੰਗੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥ ॥

Prabhati, Mahala 1 ||

ਨਾਨਕ ਰਸਨਿ ਰਸਾਏ ਰਾਤੇ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥੪॥੧੫॥ ॥

Doce meses pasan los reyes, seis meses los ascetas; los yoguis, los mendicantes, con sus cuencos, sin el Shabad, están atados al cuello. ||1||

ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ॥ ॥

Los que están imbuidos en el Shabad son verdaderos renunciantes. Con la mano extendida, piden limosna; su mente está unida en un solo amor. ||1|| Refrán ||

ਬਾਰਹ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਵਲ ਖਪਿ ਜਾਵਹਿ ਚਹੁ ਛਿਅ ਮਹਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ॥ ॥

Los brahmanes estudian los Vedas, realizan rituales y acciones; sin comprensión, nada se entiende; el auto-engreído sufre la separación. ||2||

ਜੋਗੀ ਕਾਪੜੀਆ ਸਿਰਖੂਥੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਬਦੈ ਗਲਿ ਫਾਸੀ ॥੧॥ ॥

Los que se unen al Shabad son puros y virtuosos; son honrados en la corte del Verdadero. Día tras día, su mente está unida al tesoro del Naam; a través de las edades, son iguales a la Verdad. ||3||

ਸਬਦਿ ਰਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ॥ ॥

Todos los actos, el dharma, la pureza, la autodisciplina, la meditación, la austeridad, las peregrinaciones, están contenidos en el Shabad. Nanak, al encontrarse con el Satgurú, se ha unido; el dolor, la separación y la muerte han desaparecido. ||4|| 16||

ਅਉਹਠਿ ਹਸਤ ਮਹਿ ਭੀਖਿਆ ਜਾਚੀ ਏਕ ਭਾਇ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

Prabhati, Mahala 1 ||

ਬ੍ਰਹਮਣ ਵਾਦੁ ਪੜਹਿ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਕਰਣੀ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਾਏ ॥ ॥

El polvo de los santos, la compañía de los justos, el canto del Señor, salva a los que se ahogan. ¿Qué puede hacer Yama, el dios de la muerte? Él teme; el Señor reside en el corazón del Gurú-orientado. ||1||

ਬਿਨੁ ਬੂਝੇ ਕਿਛੁ ਸੂਝੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਵਿਛੁੜਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੨॥ ॥

Sin el Naam, la vida se pierde en el agua. Meditando en el Señor, recito el Japji Sahib; la mente del Gurú-orientado encuentra paz. ||1|| Refrán ||

ਸਬਦਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੇ ਸੂਚਾਚਾਰੀ ਸਾਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਮਾਨੇ ॥ ॥

La enseñanza del Gurú es la verdad, la paz; ¿qué comparación puede hacerse con ella? Las joyas rojas, los rubíes, las riquezas, se encuentran por la gracia del Gurú. ||2||

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤਨਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੇ ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਨੇ ॥੩॥ ॥

Night and day, they remain lovingly attuned to the Naam; throughout the ages, they are merged in the True One. ||3||

ਸਗਲੇ ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਸੁਚਿ ਸੰਜਮ ਜਪ ਤਪ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਬਦਿ ਵਸੇ ॥ ॥

Good deeds, righteousness and Dharmic faith, purification, austere self-discipline, chanting, intense meditation and pilgrimages to sacred shrines - all these abide in the Shabad.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਿਲੈ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਦੂਖ ਪਰਾਛਤ ਕਾਲ ਨਸੇ ॥੪॥੧੬॥ ॥

O Nanak, united in union with the True Guru, suffering, sin and death run away. ||4||16||

ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ॥ ॥

Prabhaatee, First Mehla:

ਸੰਤਾ ਕੀ ਰੇਣੁ ਸਾਧ ਜਨ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਤਰੁ ਤਾਰੀ ॥ ॥

The dust of the feet of the Saints, the Company of the Holy, and the Praises of the Lord carry us across to the other side.

ਕਹਾ ਕਰੈ ਬਪੁਰਾ ਜਮੁ ਡਰਪੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ॥

What can the wretched, terrified Messenger of Death do to the Gurmukhs? The Lord abides in their hearts. ||1||

ਜਲਿ ਜਾਉ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ॥ ॥

Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, life might just as well be burnt down.

ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਜਾਪੁ ਜਪਉ ਜਪਮਾਲੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਆਵੈ ਸਾਦੁ ਮਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

The Gurmukh chants and meditates on the Lord, chanting the chant on the mala; the Flavor of the Lord comes into the mind. ||1||Pause||

ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਸਾਚੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਕਿਆ ਤਿਸੁ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਹੀਐ ॥ ॥

Those who follow the Guru's Teachings find true peace - how can I even describe the glory of such a person?

ਲਾਲ ਜਵੇਹਰ ਰਤਨ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਖੋਜਤ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਲਹੀਐ ॥੨॥ ॥

The Gurmukh seeks and finds the gems and jewels, diamonds, rubies and treasures. ||2||

ਚੀਨੈ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਾਚੌ ਏਕ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਵੈ ॥ ॥

So center yourself on the treasures of spiritual wisdom and meditation; remain lovingly attuned to the One True Lord, and the Word of His Shabad.

ਨਿਰਾਲੰਬੁ ਨਿਰਹਾਰੁ ਨਿਹਕੇਵਲੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਤਾੜੀ ਲਾਵੈ ॥੩॥ ॥

Remain absorbed in the Primal State of the Fearless, Immaculate, Independent, Self-sufficient Lord. ||3||

ਸਾਇਰ ਸਪਤ ਭਰੇ ਜਲ ਨਿਰਮਲਿ ਉਲਟੀ ਨਾਵ ਤਰਾਵੈ ॥ ॥

The seven seas are overflowing with the Immaculate Water; the inverted boat floats across.

ਬਾਹਰਿ ਜਾਤੌ ਠਾਕਿ ਰਹਾਵੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥੪॥ ॥

The mind which wandered in external distractions is restrained and held in check; the Gurmukh is intuitively absorbed in God. ||4||

ਸੋ ਗਿਰਹੀ ਸੋ ਦਾਸੁ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਨਿਆ ॥ ॥

He is a householder, he is a renunciate and God's slave, who, as Gurmukh, realizes his own self.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਹੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਾਚ ਸਬਦਿ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥੫॥੧੭॥ ॥

Says Nanak, his mind is pleased and appeased by the True Word of the Shabad; there is no other at all. ||5||17||

ਰਾਗੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ਚਉਪਦੇ ॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਬੂਝੈ ਸਬਦੇ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ ॥ ॥

Those who become Gurmukh and understand are very rare; God is permeating and pervading through the Word of His Shabad.

ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਸਾਚਿ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੧॥ ॥

Those who are imbued with the Naam, the Name of the Lord, find everlasting peace; they remain lovingly attuned to the True One. ||1||
