ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
El camino del Nombre de Hari es refrescante.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਠਾਂਢੀ ॥ ॥
Los Vedas, Puranas y Smritis, los santos lo buscaron y lo encontraron. ||1||Pausa||
ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਜਨ ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਕਾਢੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Shiva, Brahma e Indra, en sus mundos, ardían.
ਸਿਵ ਬਿਰੰਚ ਅਰੁ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਲੋਕ ਤਾ ਮਹਿ ਜਲਤੌ ਫਿਰਿਆ ॥ ॥
Recordando, recordando al Señor, se volvieron serenos; el dolor, el sufrimiento y la duda desaparecieron. ||1||
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਭਏ ਸੀਤਲ ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਹਿਰਿਆ ॥੧॥ ॥
Todos aquellos, antiguos y nuevos, que cruzaron (el océano del Samsara) lo hicieron a través de la devoción y el amor a Hari, el Divino.
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਤਰਿਓ ਪੁਰਾਤਨੁ ਨਵਤਨੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਵਾ ॥ ॥
La oración de Nanak es, Oh Dios, que pueda servir a los santos. ||2||52||75||
ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਸੇਵਾ ॥੨॥੫੨॥੭੫॥ ॥
Con la lengua, canta las virtudes, el néctar de Hari.
ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥

ਜਿਹਵੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਗੁਣ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਉ ॥ ॥
Acumula la riqueza de la joya del Nombre de Ram; llévalo en tu mente y cuerpo con amor.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬੋਲਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਉਚਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੋ ਨਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Considera todas las demás riquezas como falsas; esta es la verdadera naturaleza. ||1||
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨ ਧਨੁ ਸੰਚਹੁ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਭਾਉ ॥ ॥
El dador de vida, aliento y liberación, une tu atención a Él.
ਆਨ ਬਿਭੂਤ ਮਿਥਿਆ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਹੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਇਹੈ ਸੁਆਉ ॥੧॥ ॥
Dice Nanak, busca Su refugio; Él provee todo. ||2||53||76||
ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ ਏਕਸ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਉ ॥ ॥
Los poetas no tienen poder para hacer nada.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਦੇਤ ਸਗਲ ਅਪਿਆਉ ॥੨॥੫੩॥੭੬॥ ॥

ਹੋਤੀ ਨਹੀ ਕਵਨ ਕਛੁ ਕਰਣੀ ॥ ॥
Con innumerables esperanzas, cuento los días, atrapado en el hogar, mi fuerza y juventud se desvanecen. ||1||
ਇਹੈ ਓਟ ਪਾਈ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਤਹ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਏਕ ਕੀ ਸਰਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
El Señor de los desamparados, el Compasivo, el Océano de Bienaventuranza, elimina todo dolor y miedo.
ਪੰਚ ਦੋਖ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਇਆ ਤਨ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਖੈ ਬਿਆਧਿ ਕੀ ਕਰਣੀ ॥ ॥
Nanak, su siervo, desea y medita en Sus pies; al verlos, vivo. ||2||54||77||
ਆਸ ਅਪਾਰ ਦਿਨਸ ਗਣਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਗ੍ਰਸਤ ਜਾਤ ਬਲੁ ਜਰਣੀ ॥੧॥ ॥
Insípidos son los placeres sin el Nombre de Hari.
ਅਨਾਥਹ ਨਾਥ ਦਇਆਲ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ਸਰਬ ਦੋਖ ਭੈ ਹਰਣੀ ॥ ॥
El néctar del Kirtan de Hari debe cantarse día y noche, un sonido perfecto. ||1||Pausa||
ਮਨਿ ਬਾਂਛਤ ਚਿਤਵਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਪੇਖਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣੀ ॥੨॥੫੪॥੭੭॥ ॥

Saarang, Fifth Mehla:
ਫੀਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਾਦ ॥ ॥
Without the Lord's Name, flavors are tasteless and insipid.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਈਐ ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਨਾਦ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Sing the Sweet Ambrosial Praises of the Lord's Kirtan; day and night, the Sound-current of the Naad will resonate and resound. ||1||Pause||
ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਮਹਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਿਟਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਖਾਦ ॥ ॥
Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, total peace and bliss are obtained, and all sorrows are taken away.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਭੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਘਰਿ ਲੈ ਆਵਹੁ ਲਾਦਿ ॥੧॥ ॥
The profit of the Lord, Har, Har, is found in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; so load it and bring it on home. ||1||
ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਚ ਊਚ ਤੇ ਊਚੋ ਅੰਤੁ ਨਹੀ ਮਰਜਾਦ ॥ ॥
He is the Highest of all, the Highest of the high; His celestial ecomony has no limit.
ਬਰਨਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਪੇਖਿ ਰਹੇ ਬਿਸਮਾਦ ॥੨॥੫੫॥੭੮॥ ॥
Nanak cannot even express His Glorious Grandeur; gazing upon Him, he is wonder-struck. ||2||55||78||
ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Saarang, Fifth Mehla:
ਆਇਓ ਸੁਨਨ ਪੜਨ ਕਉ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ ॥
You've come (to this world) to hear and chant the Word of the Guru's Bani.
ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਲਗਹਿ ਅਨ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
But he has forgotten the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and he has become attached to other temptations. His life is totally worthless! ||1||Pause||
ਸਮਝੁ ਅਚੇਤ ਚੇਤਿ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਥੀ ਸੰਤਨ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਣੀ ॥ ॥
O my unconscious mind, become conscious and figure it out; the Saints speak the Unspoken Speech of the Lord.
ਲਾਭੁ ਲੈਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਅਰਾਧਹੁ ਛੁਟਕੈ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ॥
So gather in your profits - worship and adore the Lord within your heart; your coming and going in reincarnation shall end. ||1||
ਉਦਮੁ ਸਕਤਿ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਤੁਮੑਰੀ ਦੇਹਿ ਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਾਣੀ ॥ ॥
Effort, power and wisdom are provided by You. If You bless me with them, I can repeat Your Name.
ਸੇਈ ਭਗਤ ਭਗਤਿ ਸੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਣੀ ॥੨॥੫੬॥੭੯॥ ॥
They alone are devotees, and they alone are attached to devotional worship, O Nanak, who are pleasing to God. ||2||56||79||
ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Saarang, Fifth Mehla:
ਧਨਵੰਤ ਨਾਮ ਕੇ ਵਣਜਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
Those who deal in the Naam, the Name of the Lord, are wealthy.
ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਹੁ ਨਾਮ ਧਨੁ ਖਾਟਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
So become a partner with them, and earn the wealth of the Naam. Contemplate the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||1||Pause||
