ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ਘਰੁ ੨ ॥
Bhairao, Mahala 3, Casa 2.
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥
Un Dios, por la gracia del Gurú verdadero.
ਤਿਨਿ ਕਰਤੈ ਇਕੁ ਚਲਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Él, el Hacedor, ha hecho que uno camine por el sendero.
ਅਨਹਦ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Ha hecho oír el sonido inefable, la Palabra.
ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਭੂਲੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬੁਝਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Los auto-centrados están perdidos, los Gurú-centrados han comprendido.
ਕਾਰਣੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਆਇਆ ॥੧॥ ॥
El Creador, la Causa, ha venido a actuar. ||1||
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥ ॥
El Sabda del Gurú es mi meditación interior.
ਹਉ ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਛੋਡਉ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Nunca abandonaré el Nombre del Señor. ||1||Pause||
ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦੁ ਪੜਣ ਪਠਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Al padre Prahlad le enseñaron a leer.
ਲੈ ਪਾਟੀ ਪਾਧੇ ਕੈ ਆਇਆ ॥ ॥
Tomó la pizarra y vino a escribir.
ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹ ਪੜਉ ਅਚਾਰ ॥ ॥
Sin el Nombre, no leeré ningún texto.
ਮੇਰੀ ਪਟੀਆ ਲਿਖਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੨॥ ॥
Oh, Gobind Murari, escribe mi lección. ||2||
ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਸਿਉ ਕਹਿਆ ਮਾਇ ॥ ॥
La madre le dijo a su hijo Prahlad:
ਪਰਵਿਰਤਿ ਨ ਪੜਹੁ ਰਹੀ ਸਮਝਾਇ ॥ ॥
"No leas esas escrituras, deja de hacerlo."
ਨਿਰਭਉ ਦਾਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਮੇਰੈ ਨਾਲਿ ॥ ॥
El Señor, el dador sin miedo, está conmigo.
ਜੇ ਹਰਿ ਛੋਡਉ ਤਉ ਕੁਲਿ ਲਾਗੈ ਗਾਲਿ ॥੩॥ ॥
Si abandono al Señor, mi familia será deshonrada. ||3||
ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦਿ ਸਭਿ ਚਾਟੜੇ ਵਿਗਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
Prahlad refutó todos los argumentos falsos.
ਹਮਾਰਾ ਕਹਿਆ ਨ ਸੁਣੈ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
No escuchó lo que le decían, se ocupó de su propio trabajo.
ਸਭ ਨਗਰੀ ਮਹਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਈ ॥ ॥
En toda la ciudad, fortaleció su devoción.
ਦੁਸਟ ਸਭਾ ਕਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਨ ਵਸਾਈ ॥੪॥ ॥
No se dejó influenciar por la compañía de los malvados. ||4||
ਸੰਡੈ ਮਰਕੈ ਕੀਈ ਪੂਕਾਰ ॥ ॥
Un grito resonó desde la hoguera.
ਸਭੇ ਦੈਤ ਰਹੇ ਝਖ ਮਾਰਿ ॥ ॥
Todos los demonios fueron quemados.
ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਪਤਿ ਰਾਖੈ ਸੋਈ ॥ ॥
Él protege el honor de los devotos.
ਕੀਤੇ ਕੈ ਕਹਿਐ ਕਿਆ ਹੋਈ ॥੫॥ ॥
¿Qué se puede decir de lo que Él ha hecho? ||5||
ਕਿਰਤ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ਦੈਤਿ ਰਾਜੁ ਚਲਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Los demonios, por su propia acción y destino, gobernaron.
ਹਰਿ ਨ ਬੂਝੈ ਤਿਨਿ ਆਪਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
No comprendieron al Señor, se perdieron a sí mismos.
ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਸਿਉ ਵਾਦੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Discutieron con Prahlad.
ਅੰਧਾ ਨ ਬੂਝੈ ਕਾਲੁ ਨੇੜੈ ਆਇਆ ॥੬॥ ॥
El ciego no entiende que la muerte se acerca. ||6||
ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦੁ ਕੋਠੇ ਵਿਚਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਬਾਰਿ ਦੀਆ ਤਾਲਾ ॥ ॥
Prahlad fue encarcelado en una celda y la puerta fue cerrada con llave.
ਨਿਰਭਉ ਬਾਲਕੁ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਡਰਈ ਮੇਰੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ॥ ॥
El niño sin miedo no temía, el Gurú Gopala estaba en su corazón.
ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੈ ਸਰੀਕੀ ਕਰੈ ਅਨਹੋਦਾ ਨਾਉ ਧਰਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Lo que está destinado a suceder, sucederá; Él ha dado un nombre inefable.
ਜੋ ਧੁਰਿਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੋ ਆਇ ਪਹੁਤਾ ਜਨ ਸਿਉ ਵਾਦਰਚਾਇਆ ॥੭॥
Lo que está escrito en el destino, llega a la persona.
ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਸਿਉ ਗੁਰਜ ਉਠਾਈ ॥ ॥
The father raised the club to strike down Prahlaad, saying,
ਕਹਾਂ ਤੁਮੑਾਰਾ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥ ॥
"Where is your God, the Lord of the Universe, now?"
ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਅੰਤਿ ਸਖਾਈ ॥ ॥
He replied, ""The Life of the World, the Great Giver, is my Help and Support in the end.
ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੮॥ ॥
Wherever I look, I see Him permeating and prevailing.""||8||
ਥੰਮੑੁ ਉਪਾੜਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Tearing down the pillars, the Lord Himself appeared.
ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਦੈਤੁ ਮਾਰਿ ਪਚਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
The egotistical demon was killed and destroyed.
ਭਗਤਾ ਮਨਿ ਆਨੰਦੁ ਵਜੀ ਵਧਾਈ ॥ ॥
The minds of the devotees were filled with bliss, and congratulations poured in.
ਅਪਨੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਕਉ ਦੇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੯॥ ॥
He blessed His servant with glorious greatness. ||9||
ਜੰਮਣੁ ਮਰਣਾ ਮੋਹੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
He created birth, death and attachment.
ਆਵਣੁ ਜਾਣਾ ਕਰਤੈ ਲਿਖਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
The Creator has ordained coming and going in reincarnation.
ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦ ਕੈ ਕਾਰਜਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
For the sake of Prahlaad, the Lord Himself appeared.
ਭਗਤਾ ਕਾ ਬੋਲੁ ਆਗੈ ਆਇਆ ॥੧੦॥ ॥
The word of the devotee came true. ||10||
ਦੇਵ ਕੁਲੀ ਲਖਿਮੀ ਕਉ ਕਰਹਿ ਜੈਕਾਰੁ ॥ ॥
The gods proclaimed the victory of Lakshmi, and said,
ਮਾਤਾ ਨਰਸਿੰਘ ਕਾ ਰੂਪੁ ਨਿਵਾਰੁ ॥ ॥
"O mother, make this form of the Man-lion disappear!"
ਲਖਿਮੀ ਭਉ ਕਰੈ ਨ ਸਾਕੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ ॥
Lakshmi was afraid, and did not approach.
