ਸਰਬ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਰਣੇ ॥ ॥
Todos los deseos se cumplen.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗਾਵਤ ਭਗਵੰਤੁ ॥ ॥
Cantando las veinticuatro horas al Señor.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨੋ ਪੂਰਾ ਮੰਤੁ ॥੧॥ ॥
El Satgurú ha dado el mantra completo. ||1||
ਸੋ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਨਾਮਿ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥ ॥
Afortunado aquel que ama el Nombre.
ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਰੈ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Con él, el mundo entero cruza (el océano de la existencia). ||1|| Pausa ||
ਸੋਈ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜਿ ਸਿਮਰੈ ਏਕ ॥ ॥
Sabio es aquel que medita en el Único.
ਸੋ ਧਨਵੰਤਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਬੁਧਿ ਬਿਬੇਕ ॥ ॥
Rico es aquel que tiene sabiduría y discernimiento.
ਸੋ ਕੁਲਵੰਤਾ ਜਿ ਸਿਮਰੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥ ॥
Noble es aquel que recuerda al Señor.
ਸੋ ਪਤਿਵੰਤਾ ਜਿ ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥੨॥ ॥
Honorable es aquel que se conoce a sí mismo. ||2||
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
Por la gracia del Gurú, se alcanza el estado supremo.
ਗੁਣਗੋਪਾਲਦਿਨੁਰੈਨਿਧਿਆਇਆ॥
Día y noche, medita en las virtudes del Pastor Divino.
ਤੂਟੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਪੂਰਨ ਆਸਾ ॥ ॥
Se rompen las ataduras, se cumplen las esperanzas.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਰਿਦ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਵਾਸਾ ॥੩॥ ॥
Los pies de Hari moran en el corazón. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਰਮਾ ॥ ॥
Dice Nanak, aquel cuyos karmas son perfectos,
ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਆਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਸਰਨਾ ॥ ॥
Esa persona llega al refugio del Señor.
ਆਪਿ ਪਵਿਤੁ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਭਿ ਕੀਨੇ ॥ ॥
Él mismo purifica y santifica a todos.
ਰਾਮ ਰਸਾਇਣੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਚੀਨੑੇ ॥੪॥੩੫॥੪੮॥ ॥
El elixir de Ram se saborea en la lengua. ||4||35||48||
ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Bhairau, Quinto Gurú ||
ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈਤ ਕਿਛੁ ਬਿਘਨੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ॥ ॥
Al recitar el Nombre, ningún obstáculo se interpone.
ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਣਤ ਜਮੁ ਦੂਰਹੁ ਭਾਗੈ ॥ ॥
Al escuchar el Nombre, la muerte huye lejos.
ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈਤ ਸਭ ਦੂਖਹ ਨਾਸੁ ॥ ॥
Al recitar el Nombre, todo el sufrimiento desaparece.
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ॥੧॥ ॥
Al meditar en el Nombre, se encuentra morada a los pies de Hari. ||1||
ਨਿਰਬਿਘਨ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਜੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥ ॥
Sin obstáculos, adora con devoción el Nombre de Hari, Hari.
ਰਸਕਿ ਰਸਕਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Con deleite, canta las virtudes de Hari. ||1|| Pausa ||
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਕਿਛੁ ਚਾਖੁ ਨ ਜੋਹੈ ॥ ॥
Meditando en Hari, no se ve ninguna otra cosa.
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਦੈਤ ਦੇਉ ਨ ਪੋਹੈ ॥ ॥
Meditando en Hari, los demonios y dioses no tienen poder.
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਮੋਹੁ ਮਾਨੁ ਨ ਬਧੈ ॥ ॥
Meditando en Hari, el apego y el orgullo no se aferran.
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਗਰਭ ਜੋਨਿ ਨ ਰੁਧੈ ॥੨॥ ॥
Meditando en Hari, no se sufre el ciclo de nacimientos y muertes. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੀ ਸਗਲੀ ਬੇਲਾ ॥ ॥
La meditación en Hari es para todo momento.
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਬਹੁ ਮਾਹਿ ਇਕੇਲਾ ॥ ॥
La meditación en Hari es la soledad en la multitud.
ਜਾਤਿ ਅਜਾਤਿ ਜਪੈ ਜਨੁ ਕੋਇ ॥ ॥
De cualquier casta o sin casta, quienquiera que medite,
ਜੋ ਜਾਪੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੩॥ ॥
Alcanza la liberación según su devoción. ||3||
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੀਐ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ॥ ॥
El Nombre de Hari se debe meditar en la compañía de los santos.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਰੰਗੁ ॥ ॥
El color del Nombre de Hari es completo.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥ ॥
A Nanak, Dios le ha otorgado Su gracia.
ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਚਿਤਾਰਿ ॥੪॥੩੬॥੪੯॥ ॥
that he may think of you with each and every breath. ||4||36||49||
ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Bhairao, Fifth Mehla:
ਆਪੇ ਸਾਸਤੁ ਆਪੇ ਬੇਦੁ ॥ ॥
He Himself is the Shaastras, and He Himself is the Vedas.
ਆਪੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਭੇਦੁ ॥ ॥
He knows the secrets of each and every heart.
ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਵਥੁ ॥ ॥
He is the Embodiment of Light; all beings belong to Him.
ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਮਰਥੁ ॥੧॥ ॥
The Creator, the Cause of causes, the Perfect All-powerful Lord. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਗਹਹੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ॥ ॥
Grab hold of the Support of God, O my mind.
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਆਰਾਧਹੁ ਦੁਸਮਨ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਨੇਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
As Gurmukh, worship and adore His Lotus Feet; enemies and pains shall not even approach you. ||1||Pause||
ਆਪੇ ਵਣੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਣੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਸਾਰੁ ॥ ॥
He Himself is the Essence of the forests and fields, and all the three worlds.
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੂਤਿ ਪਰੋਇਆ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥ ॥
The universe is strung on His Thread.
ਆਪੇ ਸਿਵ ਸਕਤੀ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ॥ ॥
He is the Uniter of Shiva and Shakti - mind and matter.
ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੀ ਆਪੇ ਭੋਗੀ ॥੨॥ ॥
He Himself is in the detachment of Nirvaanaa, and He Himself is the Enjoyer. ||2||
ਜਤ ਕਤ ਪੇਖਉ ਤਤ ਤਤ ਸੋਇ ॥ ॥
Wherever I look, there He is.
ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥ ॥
Without Him, there is no one at all.
ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤਰੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ॥ ॥
In the Love of the Naam, the world-ocean is crossed.
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ॥੩॥ ॥
Nanak sings His Glorious Praises in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||3||
ਮੁਕਤਿ ਭੁਗਤਿ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਵਸਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ॥ ॥
Liberation, the ways and means of enjoyment and union are under His Control.
ਊਣਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਨ ਤਾ ਕੈ ॥ ॥
His humble servant lacks nothing.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਹੋਇ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ॥ ॥
That person, with whom the Lord, in His Mercy, is pleased
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਸੇਈ ਜਨ ਧੰਨ ॥੪॥੩੭॥੫੦॥ ॥
- O slave Nanak, that humble servant is blessed. ||4||37||50||
ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Bhairao, Fifth Mehla:
ਭਗਤਾ ਮਨਿ ਆਨੰਦੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ॥ ॥
The minds of the Lord's devotee are filled with bliss.
ਅਸਥਿਤਿ ਭਏ ਬਿਨਸੀ ਸਭ ਚਿੰਦ ॥ ॥
They become stable and permanent, and all their anxiety is gone.
