ਕਾਇਆ ਪਾਤ੍ਰੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰਾ ॥ ॥
El cuerpo es un recipiente, Dios es el Hacedor. ||
ਲਗੀ ਲਾਗਿ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਗਾਰਾ ॥ ॥
Se ha unido a la compañía de los santos, embellecido. ||
ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਇ ਬਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਮਨੁ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਜੀਠੈ ਰੰਗਨਾ ॥੧੫॥ ॥
Puro se ha vuelto, con la Palabra de Dios; la mente se tiñe con el tinte del Nombre. ||15||
ਸੋਲਹ ਕਲਾ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਫਲਿਆ ॥ ॥
Dieciséis virtudes perfectas han florecido. ||
ਅਨਤ ਕਲਾ ਹੋਇ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਚੜਿਆ ॥ ॥
Infinitas virtudes, el Señor ha ascendido. ||
ਅਨਦ ਬਿਨੋਦ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸੁਖ ਨਾਨਕ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਭੁੰਚਨਾ ॥੧੬॥੨॥੯॥ ॥
Felicidad y deleite en el Nombre de Dios, oh Nanak, el néctar del Nombre de Dios se disfruta. ||16||2||9||
ਮਾਰੂ ਸੋਲਹੇ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
Maru Solhe, Quinto Guru
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥
El Único Dios, por la Gracia del Verdadero Guru. ||
ਤੂ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਹਉ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਕੀਤਾ ॥ ॥
Tú eres el Señor, yo soy Tu sirviente. ||
ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਦੀਤਾ ॥ ॥
Vida y cuerpo, todo me lo has dado. ||
ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਸਭੁ ਤੂਹੈ ਤੂਹੈ ਹੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਅਸਾੜਾ ॥੧॥ ॥
El Hacedor y la causa de todas las acciones eres Tú, Tú solo; no hay otro. ||1||
ਤੁਮਹਿ ਪਠਾਏ ਤਾ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਆਏ ॥ ॥
Enviados por Ti, venimos al mundo. ||
ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਣਾ ਸੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਏ ॥ ॥
Las acciones que realizamos son según Tu Voluntad. ||
ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਹੋਆ ਤਾ ਭੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਾੜਾ ॥੨॥ ॥
Nada existe fuera de Ti; por lo tanto, no hay otra causa. ||2||
ਊਹਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਸੁਣੀਐ ॥ ॥
Allí se escucha Tu Orden. ||
ਈਹਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਣੀਐ ॥ ॥
Aquí se canta Tu Alabanza, oh Dios. ||
ਆਪੇ ਲੇਖ ਅਲੇਖੈ ਆਪੇ ਤੁਮ ਸਿਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਝਾੜਾ ॥੩॥ ॥
Tú mismo llevas la cuenta, lo incontable; no hay disputas contigo. ||3||
ਤੂ ਪਿਤਾ ਸਭਿ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਥਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
Tú eres el Padre, todos somos Tus hijos. ||
ਜਿਉ ਖੇਲਾਵਹਿ ਤਿਉ ਖੇਲਣਹਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
Como Tú nos haces jugar, así jugamos. ||
ਉਝੜ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਕੀਨਾ ਚਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋ ਵੇਪਾੜਾ ॥੪॥ ॥
Tú has creado todos los caminos, enredados; nadie puede cambiarlos. ||4||
ਇਕਿ ਬੈਸਾਇ ਰਖੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਅੰਤਰਿ ॥ ॥
A algunos los mantienes en casa. ||
ਇਕਿ ਪਠਾਏ ਦੇਸ ਦਿਸੰਤਰਿ ॥ ॥
A otros los envías a tierras lejanas. ||
ਇਕ ਹੀ ਕਉ ਘਾਸੁ ਇਕ ਹੀ ਕਉ ਰਾਜਾ ਇਨ ਮਹਿ ਕਹੀਐ ਕਿਆ ਕੂੜਾ ॥੫॥ ॥
A uno le das hierba, a otro un reino; ¿qué falsedad se puede decir en esto? ||5||
ਕਵਨ ਸੁ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਕਵਨ ਸੁ ਨਰਕਾ ॥ ॥
¿Qué es la liberación? ¿Qué es el infierno? ||
ਕਵਨੁ ਸੈਸਾਰੀ ਕਵਨੁ ਸੁ ਭਗਤਾ ॥ ॥
¿Quién es mundano? ¿Quién es devoto? ||
ਕਵਨ ਸੁ ਦਾਨਾ ਕਵਨੁ ਸੁ ਹੋਛਾ ਕਵਨ ਸੁ ਸੁਰਤਾ ਕਵਨੁ ਜੜਾ ॥੬॥ ॥
¿Quién es sabio? ¿Quién es ignorante? ¿Quién es consciente? ¿Quién es inerte? ||6||
ਹੁਕਮੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਨਰਕਾ ॥ ॥
Por Tu Orden, la liberación; por Tu Orden, el infierno. ||
ਹੁਕਮਿ ਸੈਸਾਰੀ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਭਗਤਾ ॥ ॥
Por Tu Orden, el mundano; por Tu Orden, el devoto. ||
ਹੁਕਮੇ ਹੋਛਾ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਦਾਨਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਅਵਰੁ ਧੜਾ ॥੭॥ ॥
Por Tu Orden, el ignorante; por Tu Orden, el sabio. No hay otro...
ਸਾਗਰੁ ਕੀਨਾ ਅਤਿ ਤੁਮ ਭਾਰਾ ॥ ॥
You made the ocean vast and huge.
ਇਕਿ ਖੜੇ ਰਸਾਤਲਿ ਕਰਿ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਗਾਵਾਰਾ ॥ ॥
You made some into foolish self-willed manmukhs, and dragged them into hell.
ਇਕਨਾ ਪਾਰਿ ਲੰਘਾਵਹਿ ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਜਿਨ ਕਾ ਸਚੁ ਬੇੜਾ ॥੮॥ ॥
Some are carried across, in the ship of Truth of the True Guru. ||8||
ਕਉਤਕੁ ਕਾਲੁ ਇਹੁ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਪਠਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
You issue Your Command for this amazing thing, death.
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਓਪਾਇ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
You create all beings and creatures, and absorb them back into Yourself.
ਵੇਖੈ ਵਿਗਸੈ ਸਭਿ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣੇ ਰਚਨੁ ਕੀਨਾ ਇਕੁ ਆਖਾੜਾ ॥੯॥ ॥
You gaze in delight upon the one arena of the world, and enjoy all the pleasures. ||9||
ਵਡਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਵਡੀ ਨਾਈ ॥ ॥
Great is the Lord and Master, and Great is His Name.
ਵਡ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ਵਡੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਜਾਈ ॥ ॥
He is the Great Giver; Great is His place.
ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅਤੋਲਾ ਹੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਹਾੜਾ ॥੧੦॥ ॥
He is inaccessible and unfathomable, infinite and unweighable. He cannot be measureed. ||10||
ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਦੂਜਾ ॥ ॥
No one else knows His value.
ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਪੂਜਾ ॥ ॥
Only You Yourself, O Immaculate Lord, are equal to Yourself.
ਆਪਿ ਸੁ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਆਪਿ ਧਿਆਨੀ ਆਪਿ ਸਤਵੰਤਾ ਅਤਿ ਗਾੜਾ ॥੧੧॥ ॥
You Yourself are the spiritual teacher, You Yourself are the One who meditates. You Yourself are the great and immense Being of Truth. ||11||
ਕੇਤੜਿਆ ਦਿਨ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਕਹਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
For so many days, You remained invisible.
ਕੇਤੜਿਆ ਦਿਨ ਸੁੰਨਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
For so many days, You were absorbed in silent absorption.
ਕੇਤੜਿਆ ਦਿਨ ਧੁੰਧੂਕਾਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਪਰਗਟੜਾ ॥੧੨॥ ॥
For so many days, there was only pitch darkness, and then the Creator revealed Himself. ||12||
ਆਪੇ ਸਕਤੀ ਸਬਲੁ ਕਹਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
You Yourself are called the God of Supreme Power.
