ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ ॥
संतों की कृपा से परम पद प्राप्त हुआ ॥२॥
ਜਨ ਕੀ ਕੀਨੀ ਆਪਿ ਸਹਾਇ ॥ ॥
भगवान ने अपने भक्त की स्वयं सहायता की ॥
ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਲਗਿ ਦਾਸਹ ਪਾਇ ॥ ॥
दासों के चरणों में लगकर सुख पाया ॥
ਆਪੁ ਗਇਆ ਤਾ ਆਪਹਿ ਭਏ ॥ ॥
अहंकार गया तो स्वयं ही प्रभु मिल गए ॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਕੀ ਸਰਨੀ ਪਏ ॥੩॥ ॥
कृपा के खजाने की शरण में आ गए ॥३॥
ਜੋ ਚਾਹਤ ਸੋਈ ਜਬ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
जो कुछ चाहा वही जब पा लिया ॥
ਤਬ ਢੂੰਢਨ ਕਹਾ ਕੋ ਜਾਇਆ ॥ ॥
तब ढूँढने कहाँ को जाना पड़ा ॥
ਅਸਥਿਰ ਭਏ ਬਸੇ ਸੁਖ ਆਸਨ ॥ ॥
चंचल मन स्थिर हो गया और सुख के आसन पर विराजमान हो गया ॥
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖ ਬਾਸਨ ॥੪॥੧੧੦॥ ॥
गुरु की कृपा से, हे नानक, सुख की सुगंध फैल गई ॥४॥११०॥
ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
गउड़ी महला ५ ॥
ਕੋਟਿ ਮਜਨ ਕੀਨੋ ਇਸਨਾਨ ॥ ॥
करोड़ों बार स्नान किया ॥
ਲਾਖ ਅਰਬ ਖਰਬ ਦੀਨੋ ਦਾਨੁ ॥ ॥
लाखों, अरबों, खरबों दान दिया ॥
ਜਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੧॥ ॥
जब मन में हरि का नाम बसा ॥१॥
ਸਗਲ ਪਵਿਤ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇ ਗੁਪਾਲ ॥ ॥
सारे पवित्र गुण गाओ गोपाल के ॥
ਪਾਪ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਸਰਨਿ ਦਇਆਲ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
पाप मिट जाते हैं दयालु संतों की शरण में ॥ रहाउ ॥
ਬਹੁਤੁ ਉਰਧ ਤਪ ਸਾਧਨ ਸਾਧੇ ॥ ॥
बहुत उग्र तप और साधनाएँ कीं ॥
ਅਨਿਕ ਲਾਭ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਲਾਧੇ ॥ ॥
अनेक लाभ और मनोरथ प्राप्त किए ॥
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਰਸਨ ਆਰਾਧੇ ॥੨॥ ॥
हरि-हरि नाम रसना से आराधना की ॥२॥
ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ ਬੇਦ ਬਖਾਨੇ ॥ ॥
स्मृति, शास्त्र, वेदों का बखान किया ॥
ਜੋਗ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਿਧ ਸੁਖ ਜਾਨੇ ॥ ॥
योग, ज्ञान, सिद्धि और सुख जाने ॥
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਉ ਮਨ ਮਾਨੇ ॥੩॥ ॥
नाम जपते हुए प्रभु में मन रमा ॥३॥
ਅਗਾਧਿ ਬੋਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
अगाध बोध वाले, अगम्य और अपार हरि ॥
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦੇ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥ ॥
नाम जपते हुए, नाम का हृदय में विचार किया ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੇ ॥੪॥੧੧੧॥ ॥
नानक पर प्रभु ने कृपा धारी ॥४॥१११॥
ਗਉੜੀ ਮਃ ੫ ॥ ॥
गउड़ी महला ५ ॥
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ॥

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਗੁਰ ਰਿਦੈ ਬਸਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ॥
I have enshrined the Lotus Feet of the Guru within my heart. ||1||
ਗੁਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥ ॥
The Guru, the Lord of the Universe, the Supreme Lord God, is perfect.
ਤਿਸਹਿ ਅਰਾਧਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਧੀਰਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
Worshipping Him, my mind has found a lasting peace. ||Pause||
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਪਉ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਮ ॥ ॥
Night and day, I meditate on the Guru, and the Name of the Guru.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਸਿਧਿ ਭਏ ਸਗਲ ਕਾਂਮ ॥੨॥ ॥
Thus all my works are brought to perfection. ||2||
ਦਰਸਨ ਦੇਖਿ ਸੀਤਲ ਮਨ ਭਏ ॥ ॥
Beholding the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, my mind has become cool and tranquil,
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਗਏ ॥੩॥ ॥
and the sinful mistakes of countless incarnations have been washed away. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਹਾ ਭੈ ਭਾਈ ॥ ॥
Says Nanak, where is fear now, O Siblings of Destiny?
ਅਪਨੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਕੀ ਆਪਿ ਪੈਜ ਰਖਾਈ ॥੪॥੧੧੨॥ ॥
The Guru Himself has preserved the honor of His servant. ||4||112||
ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ॥
Gauree, Fifth Mehla:
ਅਪਨੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਕਉ ਆਪਿ ਸਹਾਈ ॥ ॥
The Lord Himself is the Help and Support of His servants.
ਨਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰੈ ਬਾਪ ਜੈਸੇ ਮਾਈ ॥੧॥ ॥
He always cherishes them, like their father and mother. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਸਰਨਿ ਉਬਰੈ ਸਭ ਕੋਇ ॥ ॥
In God's Sanctuary, everyone is saved.
ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
That Perfect True Lord is the Doer, the Cause of causes. ||Pause||
ਅਬ ਮਨਿ ਬਸਿਆ ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰਾ ॥ ॥
My mind now dwells in the Creator Lord.
ਭੈ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਆਤਮ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਰਾ ॥੨॥ ॥
My fears have been dispelled, and my soul has found the most sublime peace. ||2||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪਨੇ ਜਨ ਰਾਖੇ ॥ ॥
The Lord has granted His Grace, and saved His humble servant.
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਲਾਥੇ ॥੩॥ ॥
The sinful mistakes of so many incarnations have been washed away. ||3||
ਕਹਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ ॥
The Greatness of God cannot be described.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਸਦਾ ਸਰਨਾਈ ॥੪॥੧੧੩॥ ॥
Servant Nanak is forever in His Sanctuary. ||4||113||
ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਚੇਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਦੁਪਦੇ ॥
Raag Gauree Chaytee, Fifth Mehla, Dho-Padhay:
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਰਾਮ ਕੋ ਬਲੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਾਈ ॥ ॥
The power of the Lord is universal and perfect, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਕਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥
So no pain can ever afflict me. ||1||Pause||
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਚਿਤਵੈ ਦਾਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਈ ॥ ॥
Whatever the Lord's slave wishes, O mother,
ਸੋ ਸੋ ਕਰਤਾ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਈ ॥੧॥ ॥
the Creator Himself causes that to be done. ||1||
ਨਿੰਦਕ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਪਤਿ ਗਵਾਈ ॥ ॥
God causes the slanderers to lose their honor.
ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਗਾਈ ॥੨॥੧੧੪॥ ॥
Nanak sings the Glorious Praises of the Fearless Lord. ||2||114||
