ਜਿਹ ਘਟੈ ਮੂਲੁ ਨਿਤ ਬਢੈ ਬਿਆਜੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

जहाँ मूल घटता है और ब्याज निरंतर बढ़ता है।। रहाउ।।

ਸਾਤ ਸੂਤ ਮਿਲਿ ਬਨਜੁ ਕੀਨ ॥ ॥

सात सूतों को मिलाकर व्यापार किया।

ਕਰਮ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਸੰਗ ਲੀਨ ॥ ॥

कर्म और भावनाएँ साथ लगी रहीं।

ਤੀਨਿ ਜਗਾਤੀ ਕਰਤ ਰਾਰਿ ॥ ॥

तीनों लोकों में झगड़ा करते रहे।

ਚਲੋ ਬਨਜਾਰਾ ਹਾਥ ਝਾਰਿ ॥੨॥ ॥

हे व्यापारी, हाथ झाड़कर चलो।।२।।

ਪੂੰਜੀ ਹਿਰਾਨੀ ਬਨਜੁ ਟੂਟ ॥ ॥

पूँजी लुट गई, व्यापार टूट गया।

ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਟਾਂਡੋ ਗਇਓ ਫੂਟਿ ॥ ॥

दसों दिशाओं में भटकते फिरते, टूट गए।।

ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਮਨ ਸਰਸੀ ਕਾਜ ॥ ॥

कबीर कहते हैं, मन में ही सच्चा काम है।

ਸਹਜ ਸਮਾਨੋ ਤ ਭਰਮ ਭਾਜ ॥੩॥੬॥ ॥

सहज समाधि में स्थिर हो जाओ, तो भ्रम भाग जाएगा।।३।।६।।

ਬਸੰਤੁ ਹਿੰਡੋਲੁ ਘਰੁ ੨ ॥

माता जूठी, पिता भी जूठा, जूठे ही फल लगते हैं।

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥

जूठे आते हैं, जूठे ही जाते हैं, जूठे ही अभागे मरते हैं।।१।।

ਮਾਤਾ ਜੂਠੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਭੀ ਜੂਠਾ ਜੂਠੇ ਹੀ ਫਲ ਲਾਗੇ ॥ ॥

हे पंडित, बताओ कौन सा स्थान शुद्ध है?

ਆਵਹਿ ਜੂਠੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਭੀ ਜੂਠੇ ਜੂਠੇ ਮਰਹਿ ਅਭਾਗੇ ॥੧॥ ॥

जहाँ बैठकर मैं भोजन करूँ।।१।। रहाउ।।

ਕਹੁ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਸੂਚਾ ਕਵਨੁ ਠਾਉ ॥ ॥

जीभ जूठी, बोलना जूठा, कान, नेत्र सभी जूठे।

ਜਹਾਂ ਬੈਸਿ ਹਉ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਖਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

इन्द्रियों की जूठ कभी नहीं उतरती, ब्रह्म अग्नि में लूटते हैं।।२।।

ਜਿਹਬਾ ਜੂਠੀ ਬੋਲਤ ਜੂਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਸਭਿ ਜੂਠੇ ॥ ॥

अग्नि भी जूठी, पानी जूठा, जूठे बैठकर पकाया।

ਇੰਦ੍ਰੀ ਕੀ ਜੂਠਿ ਉਤਰਸਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਅਗਨਿ ਕੇ ਲੂਠੇ ॥੨॥ ॥

जूठी करछी से परोसा, जूठे ही बैठकर खाया।।३।।

ਅਗਨਿ ਭੀ ਜੂਠੀ ਪਾਨੀ ਜੂਠਾ ਜੂਠੀ ਬੈਸਿ ਪਕਾਇਆ ॥ ॥

गोबर जूठा, चौका जूठा, जूठी दी हुई दीवार।

ਜੂਠੀ ਕਰਛੀ ਪਰੋਸਨ ਲਾਗਾ ਜੂਠੇ ਹੀ ਬੈਠਿ ਖਾਇਆ ॥੩॥ ॥

कबीर कहते हैं, वे ही मनुष्य शुद्ध हैं, जिन्होंने सच्ची विचारणा की है।।४।।१।।७।।

ਗੋਬਰੁ ਜੂਠਾ ਚਉਕਾ ਜੂਠਾ ਜੂਠੀ ਦੀਨੀ ਕਾਰਾ ॥ ॥

Impure is the cow dung, and impure is the kitchen square. Impure are the lines that mark it off.

ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਤੇਈ ਨਰ ਸੂਚੇ ਸਾਚੀ ਪਰੀ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੭॥ ॥

Says Kabeer, they alone are pure, who have obtained pure understanding. ||4||1||7||

Raamaanand Jee, First House:

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਕਤ ਜਾਈਐ ਰੇ ਘਰ ਲਾਗੋ ਰੰਗੁ ॥ ॥

Where should I go? My home is filled with bliss.

ਮੇਰਾ ਚਿਤੁ ਨ ਚਲੈ ਮਨੁ ਭਇਓ ਪੰਗੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

My consciousness does not go out wandering. My mind has become crippled. ||1||Pause||

ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨ ਭਈ ਉਮੰਗ ॥ ॥

One day, a desire welled up in my mind.

ਘਸਿ ਚੰਦਨ ਚੋਆ ਬਹੁ ਸੁਗੰਧ ॥ ॥

I ground up sandalwood, along with several fragrant oils.

ਪੂਜਨ ਚਾਲੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਠਾਇ ॥ ॥

I went to God's place, and worshipped Him there.

ਸੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਬਤਾਇਓ ਗੁਰ ਮਨ ਹੀ ਮਾਹਿ ॥੧॥ ॥

That God showed me the Guru, within my own mind. ||1||

ਜਹਾ ਜਾਈਐ ਤਹ ਜਲ ਪਖਾਨ ॥ ॥

Wherever I go, I find water and stones.

ਤੂ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਸਮਾਨ ॥ ॥

You are totally pervading and permeating in all.

ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਸਭ ਦੇਖੇ ਜੋਇ ॥ ॥

I have searched through all the Vedas and the Puraanas.

ਊਹਾਂ ਤਉ ਜਾਈਐ ਜਉ ਈਹਾਂ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥ ॥

I would go there, only if the Lord were not here. ||2||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਤੋਰ ॥ ॥

I am a sacrifice to You, O my True Guru.

ਜਿਨਿ ਸਕਲ ਬਿਕਲ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਕਾਟੇ ਮੋਰ ॥ ॥

You have cut through all my confusion and doubt.

ਰਾਮਾਨੰਦ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਰਮਤ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ॥ ॥

Raamaanand's Lord and Master is the All-pervading Lord God.

ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਕਾਟੈ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਰਮ ॥੩॥੧॥ ॥

The Word of the Guru's Shabad eradicates the karma of millions of past actions. ||3||1||

ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸੰਕਟਵੈ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਭਜੈ ॥ ॥

If the servant runs away when his master is in trouble,

ਚਿਰੰਕਾਲ ਨ ਜੀਵੈ ਦੋਊ ਕੁਲ ਲਜੈ ॥੧॥ ॥

he will not have a long life, and he brings shame to all his family. ||1||

ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਨ ਛੋਡਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਲੋਗੁ ਹਸੈ ॥ ॥

I shall not abandon devotional worship of You, O Lord, even if the people laugh at me.

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀਅਰੇ ਬਸੈਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ॥

The Lord's Lotus Feet abide within my heart. ||1||Pause||

ਜੈਸੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਧਨਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਮਰਨੁ ਮਾਂਡੈ ॥ ॥

The mortal will even die for the sake of his wealth;

ਤੈਸੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਛਾਡੈਂ ॥੨॥ ॥

in the same way, the Saints do not forsake the Lord's Name. ||2||

ਗੰਗਾ ਗਇਆ ਗੋਦਾਵਰੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਾਮਾ ॥ ॥

Pilgrimages to the Ganges, the Gaya and the Godawari are merely worldly affairs.
