Swayya

ਕੋਪ ਕੀਏ ਸਬ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੀਏ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਮਿਲ ਕੈ ਤਿਹ ਪੈ ਤਬ ਆਏ ॥

In great rage, taking their weapons in their hands, all of them together fell upon the king

ਭੂਪ ਨਿਖੰਗ ਤੇ ਕਾਢ ਕੈ ਬਾਨ ਕਮਾਨ ਕੋ ਤਾਨਿ ਸੁ ਖੈਚ ਚਲਾਏ ॥

The king, taking out the arrows from his quiver, discharged them, pulling his bow

ਹੋਤ ਭਏ ਬਿਰਥੀ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੂਤ ਘਨੇ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਜਮਲੋਕਿ ਪਠਾਏ ॥

The warriors and charioteers were deprived of their chariots and the king dispatched them to the abode of Yama

ਠਾਢੋ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਰਹਿਓ ਤਿਹ ਠੌਰ ਸਬੈ ਗਨ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਜਛ ਪਰਾਏ ॥੧੪੯੩॥

None of them could stay at that place all the Yakshas and Kinnars fled away.1493.

ਰੋਸ ਘਨੋ ਨਲ ਕੂਬਰ ਕੈ ਸੁ ਫਿਰਿਯੋ ਲਰਬੇ ਕਹੁ ਬੀਰ ਬੁਲਾਏ ॥

Then, in his fury, Nalkoober called his warriors for fighting

ਸਉਹੇ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਭਯੋ ਧਨੁ ਲੈ ਸਰ ਜਛ ਜਿਤੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੈ ਪੁਨਿ ਆਏ ॥

Kuber also stood there keeping his wealth in safety, all the Yakshas then came collectively

ਮਾਰ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿ ਪਰੇ ਸਬ ਹੀ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਅਸਿ ਲੈ ਚਮਕਾਏ ॥

Schreien "Töten! Töten!" und alle nahmen Schwerter in die Hände und ließen sie glänzen.

ਮਾਨਹੁ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਖੜਗੇਸ ਕੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਦੰਡ ਲੀਏ ਜਮ ਕੇ ਗਨ ਧਾਏ ॥੧੪੯੪॥

Shouting “kill, kill” they gleamed their swords and it seemed that the ganas of Yama and attacked Kharag Singh, carrying their staff of death.1494.

Chaupai

ਜਬ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਕੋ ਸਬ ਦਲੁ ਆਯੋ ॥

Als Kubers ganze Armee herbeieilte.

ਤਬ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥

When the whole army of Kuber came, the anger increased in the mind of the king

ਨਿਜ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਧਨੁ ਬਾਨ ਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ ॥

Mit eigener Hand sammelte er die Pfeile.

ਅਗਨਤ ਦਲੁ ਇਕ ਪਲ ਮੈ ਮਾਰਿਓ ॥੧੪੯੫॥

He held up the bow and arrows in his hands and killed innumerable soldiers in an instant.1495.

ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

Dohra

ਜਛ ਸੈਨ ਬਲਬੰਡ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਜਮ ਪੁਰ ਦਈ ਪਠਾਇ ॥

Die Jaksha-Armee und der mächtige König wurden in Yamas Reich geschickt.

ਨਲ ਕੂਬਰ ਘਾਇਲ ਕੀਓ ਅਤਿ ਜੀਯ ਕੋਪੁ ਬਢਾਇ ॥੧੪੯੬॥

Nalkoober wurde verwundet, während der Zorn im Herzen stark zunahm.1496.

ਜਬ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਕੇ ਉਰ ਬਿਖੈ ਮਾਰਿਓ ਤੀਛਨ ਬਾਨ ॥

Then the king inflicted a sharp arrow in the chest of Kuber, which made him run away and all his pride was shattered.1497.

ਲਾਗਤ ਸਰ ਕੇ ਸਟਕਿਓ ਛੂਟਿ ਗਯੋ ਸਬ ਮਾਨ ॥੧੪੯੭॥

ਸੈਨਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਸਬੈ ਭਜ ਗਯੋ ॥

All of them ran away alongwith the army and none of them kept standing there

ਠਾਢੋ ਨ ਕੋ ਰਨ ਭੀਤਰ ਭਯੋ ॥

Niemand blieb im Kampf stehen.

ਮਨਿ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਅਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥

Kuber was extremely frightened in his mind and his desire to fight again ended.1498.

ਜੁਧ ਕਰਨ ਚਿਤਿ ਬਹੁਰ ਨ ਭਾਯੋ ॥੧੪੯੮॥

Der Kampf gefiel dem Geist nicht mehr.1498.
